1. Instructions
1.1 Module Models

2. Connection between device and Smart WiFi module
Insert the USB-A port of the Smart WiFi module into the WiFi port of the solar device and tighten it with the screw.

3. Configure Network
3.1 Download APP
Scan the QR code to download the Fsolar APP.

3.2 Connect to Smart WiFi module wireless network
Configure your mobile phone's WLAN to connect to the Smart WiFi module's wireless network.
- Run the Fsolar APP, navigate to the login page, and click the "Setup network" button to access the network configuration page.
- On the network configuration page, click the "Switch to mobile WLAN page to select" button to open your mobile phone's WLAN settings.
- In your mobile phone's WLAN settings, locate the Smart WiFi module's wireless network name (SSID), which begins with 'S' (e.g., Snnxxxxxxxxxx, where xxxxxxxxxx matches the last 10 bytes of the module's serial number). Enter the module's wireless network password (default: 12345678) and establish the connection. [Screenshots of the Fsolar APP showing these steps]
3.3 Configure the network parameters
- Once your mobile WLAN is connected to the Smart WiFi module's wireless network, return to the APP's network configuration page and click the "NEXT" button to proceed to the WiFi network page.
- On the WiFi network page, tap the "Choose network" button. Select the router's wireless network that the Smart WiFi module needs to connect to, enter the router's wireless network password, and then tap the "Connect" button. [Screenshots of the Fsolar APP showing these steps]
- Wait for the Smart WiFi module to connect to the router's wireless network. This process may take some time.
Note: A constantly illuminated NET indicator light signifies a successful connection between the Smart WiFi module and the server. If the light is not constantly on, the module is not connected. Utilize the APP's diagnostic features or consult the troubleshooting appendix for assistance.
4. Create the plant
After the Smart WiFi module establishes a connection with the server, it will transmit data from the solar device. Once a plant is created, users can view and manage the solar device through the APP or a web browser.
4.1 Manage device via APP
4.1.1 Register an account
Launch the APP, go to the login page, click the "Register" button, fill in the necessary details, and complete the account registration.
4.1.2 Adding devices
After logging into the APP with your account, navigate to the home page and click the "Device" button to access the device interface. Click the "+" button to go to the "Add Device" page and fill in the required information. Note: 'Device SN' refers to the serial number of the solar device, such as an inverter's serial number.
4.1.3 Adding plant
Once the device has been added, click the "Plant" button to enter the plant interface. Click the "+" button to access the "Add Plant" page, complete the required information, and click the "Submit" button to add the plant.
4.2 Manage device via web browser

Issue 1: Power supply of USB-A port is abnormal. Solutions: 1. Check if screws are tightened. 2. Check USB port connection abnormality. 3. Smart WiFi module failure. Issue 2: Abnormal communication with solar device. Solutions: 1. Check that screws are tightened. 2. Check USB port connection abnormality. Issue 3: Abnormal communication with router or data server. Solutions: 1. Check router information: a) Confirm wireless configuration for router connection. b) Router name must consist of English letters and numbers only; special symbols are not supported. c) Confirm the router connected to the Smart WiFi module can access the Internet. 2. Verify correct router name and password entry during configuration. 3. Confirm good signal quality between the Smart WiFi module and the router. |
