The Philips Alpha-VP-5HWS-H stays online in real-time via Wi-Fi. Once paired with the app, you can view access history, send temporary PIN codes remotely, and watch live video at your door with a single tap.
Remote video intercom
When a visitor presses the doorbell, a notification is sent to your app instantly. Tap the notification to start two-way audio and connect with them. The video lock automatically records video whenever the doorbell rings, so you won't miss any visitor information, even when you're away.
4-inch IPS display
The indoor assembly features a 4-inch IPS display. Tap the display button to view visitors and the doorway; tap again to turn off the screen, making it convenient for children and the elderly. You can also adjust the screen brightness and sleep timeout via the app.
Wide-angle night vision
The Philips Alpha-VP-5HWS-H is equipped with a 144° wide-angle camera and two low-power infrared fill lights. It supports both daytime and night vision modes. In low-light conditions, the infrared lights automatically turn on, switching to night vision and recognizing facial features up to 1 meter from the lock.
PIR motion detection
Equipped with a PIR sensor, the Alpha-VP-5HWS-H uses an AI humanoid detection algorithm to identify unusual activity within 3 meters* of the front door. It instantly captures a photo or records a video, then pushes a notification to the app via an encrypted cloud server, allowing you to monitor all doorway activity and prevent security risks.
Quick-access thumbturn
The inside assembly features a thumbturn, allowing you to unlock the door with a simple twist, even during power outages or electronic malfunctions. This provides reliable safety when it matters most.
20-digit hidden PIN code
The Alpha-VP-5HWS-H features 20-digit hidden PIN code technology. To prevent peeping, you can enter random digits before or after your actual PIN, up to a total of 20 digits, ensuring your access code stays secure.
Multiple alerting
Equipped with multiple alerts, such as anti-dismantling, system locking, low battery level, and abnormal bolt, the Philips Alpha-VP-5HWS-H ensures instant protection for your family and provides real-time reminders of the lock status, offering a sense of assurance and security.
Fully automatic mortise
The Philips Alpha-VP-5HWS-H features a fully automatic mortise, allowing you to push the door to unlock without any extra steps. The bolts automatically retract after successful verification via fingerprint or PIN code. If the door is left ajar, the system sends an alert to notify you of the lock status.
Indoor infrared sensor unlock
With both a touch sensor and an infrared sensor on the handle, the door unlocks effortlessly when the hand touches the sensor and the infrared sensor detects it.
