Product Features & Interfaces
To enhance surveying capabilities, SingularXYZ has integrated a precise laser module into the L1 Laser GNSS receiver, achieving deep fusion of multiple sensors. Despite its palm-sized design, the L1 offers an advanced GNSS engine, non-contact laser surveying, a 60° tilt IMU, and an enhanced 15km UHF range, empowering users with rich features.
Front Panel
- Satellite Indicator: Flashes N times every 100ms, where N represents the number of tracking satellites.
- Correction Data Indicator: Flashes when transmitting or receiving correction data.
- Power Button: Long press to turn the receiver on or off.
Receiver Back
- Power Indicator: A red light indicates the receiver is turned on. A green light flashes during charging and remains solid when fully charged.
Receiver Interfaces
- NFC Connection: For NFC connectivity.
- SMA Connector: For connecting the UHF Antenna.
- Type-C Interface: Used for charging and data download.

How to Get Started

Method 1: RTK Surveying
- 1.1 Create a project

- 1.4 Start Surveying
1.4.1 Tilt Surveying & IMU Initialization
The L1 Laser GNSS Receiver features a built-in IMU module supporting tilt surveying up to 60°. Before starting tilt survey, ensure:
- The L1 is in an open area and in a stable fixed status.
- The actual pole height is entered correctly in the software.
Navigate to Survey >> Point Survey, click to enable the tilt function. Follow the on-screen prompts to shake the pole to complete initialization.
Tip: Please keep the bottom tip of the pole at the same point throughout the entire initialization process.
1.4.2 Laser Surveying
Before commencing laser surveying, verify that the tilt IMU function is enabled. Navigate to Survey >> Point Survey, click to activate the laser function and begin surveying.
Aim at the target point using the laser and click the survey button.
Tip: Using a bipod is recommended to stabilize laser aiming, reducing hand shake and improving surveying accuracy.

Method 2: Static Surveying
- 2.1 Static Data Recording
Connect the L1 to SingularPad as described in step 1.2. Navigate to Device >> Static Record. Configure settings such as record Interval, Observation Time, and Data Format (binary *.xyz or RINEX) as needed.
Click 'Start' to begin static surveying. Data will be recorded on the receiver's storage.
- 2.2 Static Data Download
2.2.1 USB Download:
Connect the L1 to a PC using the USB Type-C cable and copy the static files to your PC.
2.2.2 Web UI Download:
- Connect your PC or mobile device to the L1's WiFi network (Name: SN of L1, Password: 12345678).
- Open a web browser and navigate to the L1 web page via IP address 192.168.10.12 (Username: admin, Password: admin).
- Go to Work Management >> File Download. Select the record name, file type, and date to filter and download the static data.

Limited Warranty Notice
What is covered by this Warranty
- SingularXYZ warrants that the Products (GNSS receivers, data collectors & external radios) are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, in accordance with the respective Product user manual, during the Warranty Period.
- The Warranty Period is twelve (12) months from the date of the original shipment of the Product.
What SingularXYZ will do in the event of a Warranty claim
- Repaired Products or parts, or replacements, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
- Customers will not be charged for the repair or replacement of a defective Product during the Warranty Period. All replaced defective Products, parts, boards, or equipment become the property of SingularXYZ.
What is not covered by the Warranty
- This Warranty does not cover defects and damage resulting from:
- Normal wear, tear, scratches, or aging of the equipment.
- Product use outside of normal conditions or permitted use in the user manual.
- Disassembly, repair, alteration, or modifications by anyone other than SingularXYZ or an Authorized Service Center.
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, force majeure, or accidents.
- Improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, or any alteration or modification of the Product.
- Spillage of food or liquids, corrosion, rust, or use of incorrect voltage.
- This Warranty is void if:
- You are not the first purchaser who legally acquired the Products from SingularXYZ or authorized distributors.
- There is no proof of purchase.
Your responsibilities
- The customer must provide the original purchase receipt or other information required by applicable legislation regarding the date and place of purchase. SingularXYZ reserves the right to refuse service if this information is incomplete or illegible.
- Before delivering your Product for service, back up your data and remove all personal information and disable security passwords.
