These high-efficiency upflow gas furnaces are designed for versatile installation in utility rooms, basements, alcoves, or closets. Upflow/horizontal units are ready for either application, featuring an extended flush jacket for an appealing appearance. Certified by CSA for use in Canada and the United States.

Upflow/Horizontal Gas Furnace Components: The furnace features components arranged for upflow or horizontal airflow. Key parts visible include the Finish Flange, Roll-Out Switch, Burner Assembly, Igniter, Gas Valve, Furnace Control Board, Pressure Switches (Inducer and Condensate), Transformer, Main Air Limit Switch, Inducer Limit Switch, Inducer Assembly, Blower Door Switch, Motor Control Box (on C & D cabinets), Motor Choke (on C & D cabinets), and Motor Control Board. The Flame Sensor is also prominently located.

Downflow Gas Furnace Components: Similar to the upflow configuration, the downflow unit includes components such as the Finish Flange, Roll-Out Switch, Burner Assembly, Gas Manifold, Igniter, Gas Valve, Furnace Control Board, Motor Control Board, Transformer, Pressure Switches, Main Air Limit Switch, Inducer Limit Switch, Inducer Assembly, Blower Door Switch, Motor Choke (on C & D cabinets), and Blower Assembly (behind blower panel). The Flame Sensor is also visible.

Cooling Airflow

Venting

All models are approved for vertical non-direct (1-pipe) and direct (2-pipe) venting applications. The Vent Table specifies allowable lengths for different sizes and configurations.
