- AC voltage symbol: Indicates rated voltage is AC.
- DC voltage symbol: Indicates rated voltage is DC.
- Caution. Consult instructions for use symbol: Instructs the user to consult the user manual for further safety information.
Power Safety
- Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or adapters beyond their voltage and capacity to prevent fire or electric shock. Refer to the power specifications section or the product's power supply label for voltage and amperage information.
- Place power-supply cords so they are not likely to be walked on or pinched. Pay attention to cords at the plug end, wall outlets, and where they exit the appliance.
- Never insert metallic objects into open parts of the apparatus; this can cause electric shock.
- Never touch the inside of the apparatus to avoid electric shock. Only qualified technicians should open the apparatus.
- Ensure the power cord is firmly seated. Pull the power cord's plug, not the cord itself, when unplugging. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands.
- If the apparatus does not operate normally (unusual sounds or smells), unplug it immediately and contact an authorized dealer or Samsung service center.
- To protect the apparatus from lightning storms or for long periods of unattended use, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system.
- Accumulated dust can cause electric shock, leakage, or fire due to sparking, heat generation, or insulation deterioration.
- Use only a properly grounded plug and wall outlet. Improper grounding may cause electric shock or equipment damage (Class I Equipment only).
- To turn off the apparatus completely, disconnect it from the wall outlet. Ensure the wall outlet and power plug are readily accessible for quick disconnection.
Installation Safety
- Do not place the apparatus near or over radiators, heat registers, or in direct sunlight.
- Do not place vessels containing water on the apparatus, as this can result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not expose the apparatus to rain or moisture.
- Contact an authorized Samsung service center if installing the TV in locations with heavy dust, extreme temperatures, high humidity, chemical substances, or where it operates 24 hours a day (e.g., airports, train stations) to prevent serious damage.
- Do not expose the apparatus to dripping or splashing.
Mounting the TV on a Wall
- Follow manufacturer's instructions exactly when wall-mounting. Incorrect mounting can cause serious injury or damage.
- Order Samsung wall mount kits from a Samsung service center.
- Samsung Electronics is not responsible for product damage or injury if you install the wall mount yourself or use a non-VESA or non-specified wall mount.
- Install wall mounts on solid walls perpendicular to the floor. Contact your dealer for information on mounting to surfaces other than plasterboard. Mounting on ceilings or slanted walls may result in severe personal injury.
- Fasten all four VESA screws when installing a wall mount kit.
- If using a kit with only two top screws, ensure it's a Samsung kit designed for this.
- Do not mount the TV at more than a 15-degree tilt.
- Standard wall mount kit dimensions are in the Unpacking and Installation Guide.
- Do not install the wall mount kit while the TV is on to prevent electric shock.
- Do not use screws longer than standard or non-VESA compliant screws, as they may damage the TV's interior.
- Screw length may vary for non-VESA standard mounts.
- Do not overtighten screws to prevent product damage or falling, which could cause injury. Samsung is not liable for such accidents.
- Always have two people mount the TV on a wall. For 82-inch or larger models, four people are recommended.
Providing Proper Ventilation
Maintain at least 10 cm distance between the TV and One Connect Box and other objects (walls, cabinet sides) for proper ventilation. Failure to do so may result in fire or product issues due to increased internal temperature. (*One Connect Supported Model Only)
- Use only Samsung-provided parts for stands or wall mounts to avoid product difficulties or injury from falling.
Safety Precaution
- Caution: Pulling, pushing, or climbing on the TV may cause it to fall, leading to serious injury or death, especially to children. Follow all safety precautions in the included Safety Flyer. Consider purchasing and installing an anti-tip device as described in "Preventing the TV from falling."
- WARNING: Never place a television set in an unstable location. The television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. To avoid injuries, particularly to children:
- Always use cabinets, stands, or mounting methods recommended by Samsung.
- Always use furniture that can safely support the television set.
- Ensure the television set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
- Educate children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.
- Route cords and cables so they cannot be tripped over, pulled, or grabbed.
- Never place a television set in an unstable location.
- Never place the television set on tall furniture (e.g., cupboards, bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the television set to a suitable support.
- Never place the television set on cloth or other materials between the television set and supporting furniture.
- Never place items that might tempt children to climb (toys, remote controls) on top of the television or furniture.
- If relocating an existing television set, apply the same considerations.
- When relocating or lifting the TV for replacement or cleaning, do not pull out the stand.
Preventing the TV from Falling
- Fasten brackets securely to the wall using appropriate screws. Ensure screws are firmly attached. Additional materials like wall anchors may be needed depending on the wall type.
- Fasten brackets securely to the TV using appropriately sized screws (refer to the Unpacking and Installation Guide for specifications).
- Connect the TV brackets and wall brackets with a durable, heavy-duty string and tie it tightly. Install the TV near the wall to prevent it from falling backward. Ensure wall brackets are at the same height or lower than the TV brackets.
Operation
- This apparatus uses batteries. Dispose of batteries properly according to local environmental regulations. Contact local authorities for disposal or recycling information.
- Store accessories (remote control, batteries) safely out of reach of children.
- Do not drop or strike the product. If damaged, disconnect the power cord and contact a Samsung service center.
- Do not dispose of remote controls or batteries in fire.
- Do not short-circuit, disassemble, or overheat batteries.
- CAUTION: Danger of explosion if batteries are replaced with the wrong type. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
- WARNING: KEEP CANDLES AND OTHER ITEMS WITH OPEN FLAMES AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AT ALL TIMES TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF FIRE.
Caring for the TV
- To clean, unplug the power cord and wipe the product with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemicals like wax, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticide, air fresheners, lubricants, or detergents, as they can damage the appearance or printing.
- Wipe the exterior and screen carefully with a soft cloth to prevent scratches.
- Do not spray water or liquid directly onto the TV, as it may cause failure, fire, or electric shock.
Internet Security (Mexico only)
Samsung implements measures to protect its Internet-compatible Smart TVs against unauthorized access and hacking, including encryption for sensitive communications and controls against unauthorized applications. However, no Internet-connected device is completely secure. Take additional steps to safeguard your TV and Internet connection:

- Ensure your access point's firewall is enabled.
- Keep all Internet-connected devices behind your network's firewall.
- Use the standby mode button on your access point or modem to disconnect your home network from the Internet when not in use.
- Use strong passwords for all Internet accounts (Netflix, Facebook, etc.).

For more information, refer to "Troubleshooting" in the e-Manual (Menu > Settings > Support > Open e-Manual > Troubleshooting). If issues persist, visit www.samsung.com/support or contact a Samsung service center.
- The panel is made of sub-pixels; a few bright or dark pixels are normal and do not impact performance.
- Upgrade to the latest software using "Update Now" or "Auto Update" (Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update) to keep the TV in optimal condition.
The TV Won’t Turn On:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the product and the wall outlet.
