Veeconn WiFi Digital Frame Troubleshooting Guide
Thanks for choosing the Veeconn WiFi digital frame.
Frame Not Turning On
This digital frame does not have a battery. Ensure the power adapter is correctly inserted into the DC hole of the frame and connected to a powered-on household socket. Verify the household socket is functional.
Use a working voltage within 110-220V for the power adapter to avoid damaging the adapter or frame. Alternatively, a 5V-2A USB charging cable can be used.
Frame Turns On for a Few Seconds and Shuts Off
This usually happens when the system is initially powered on and the forced update mode is selected.
- If a black screen appears during the first boot process, keep the power supply connected. The system is automatically updating and this may take approximately 5 minutes. Please be patient.
- If the machine does not automatically restart after 5 minutes, and then disconnects and reconnects the power supply, it is recommended to skip the WiFi connection step during the initial wizard setup.
- After completing the wizard settings, navigate to the feature settings page to link to WiFi. This method allows for a quick and safe system update.
Important: Connect the power supply during the system update process to prevent incomplete software updates or missing files that could cause the machine to fail to start.
WiFi Update Does Not Connect to Internet
Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4Ghz WiFi network. After updating the system, restart the WiFi photo frame.
If the frame cannot connect to the network, try the following:
- Disconnect the WiFi on the photo frame.
- Restart your router.
- Wait a few minutes.
- Search for the connection again.
You can also use a mobile hotspot to try connecting to the network normally.
Our engineers have successfully reset WIFI multiple times, restoring to factory mode and reconnecting to WIFI. If issues persist, please try restoring to factory mode and reconnecting to WIFI.
Frame Does Not Turn On Even with Charger
This digital frame does not have a battery. It requires the power supply to be plugged in to operate.
Frame Turns On, But Images Do Not Display
This could be due to an unsuccessful upload or an incorrect image format.
- Uploading issues may be related to network connectivity. Try a location with a better network signal or copy photos to a memory card to see if they display. The frame has a micro SD card slot on the back.
- You can use the provided OTG micro cable to connect a USB disk for importing or playing data directly.
- Supported photo formats are JPEG, PNG, and JPG. BMP and some Apple dynamic formats (like AVI, GIF) are not supported. Static photos from Apple phones in PNG or JPG format can be displayed.
- Video playback supports .mp4 format.
Video Freezes or Glitches During Playback
For video freezes, navigate to Settings -> Slideshow -> Timer. Set the display time for minutes and seconds to the longest duration available.
The frame treats video playback as part of the slideshow. To ensure complete video playback, maximize the time settings.
Remote Control Not Working
Ensure AA batteries are installed in the back battery slot of the frame for the remote to function. The remote can control the frame's screen to light up or rest.
Only the power adapter can turn the frame on or off. Alternatively, use the power software button on the frame to close it.
The remote may not respond if the photo frame is in a paused state due to a busy system.
We advise resetting the photo frame when it is powered on if the remote is unresponsive.
Frame Stops Working After a Few Hours, Keeps Cutting Off and Restarting
The original power adapter may be damaged. Contact the seller to request a new 5V 2A original power adapter. Alternatively, try using a 5V 2A Micro USB power adapter to determine if the issue is with the power adapter.
Frame is Too Complicated to Operate
The digital frame can be set up by yourself. Add friends and share a code with your family. Once your family downloads the Frameo app and enters the code, they can send pictures and videos to the digital frame. You can also adjust sleep mode and brightness settings.
Frame Turns Off When Sending Pictures
If only a few pictures display and the rest show a black screen, please message the seller with a photo of your digital frame's Peer ID. Access the Peer ID via Settings -> About -> Peer ID. This will help engineers diagnose the issue and provide a resolution.
Confirm that your digital frame has a good Wi-Fi signal and that photos are uploading successfully. Also, check that uploaded photos are in JPG or PNG format.
Does Not Work with USB
Please use the provided OTG micro cable to connect your USB disk to import data or play directly.
