High Efficiency eF Series® Residential Power Vent Gas Water Heater
Bradford White Water Heaters presents the High Efficiency eF Series, a residential power vent gas water heater designed for optimal performance and energy savings.
Features
- Bradford White ICON System®: An intelligent gas control that eliminates the constant burning pilot, saving gas during standby periods (120 VAC). Proprietary algorithms ensure tighter temperature differential and consistent water temperature levels up to 160°F (70°C). An LED light indicates pilot function or operation status/service required.
- Vitraglas® Lining with Microban®: An exclusively engineered enamel formula providing superior tank protection from water's corrosive effects. Microban® antimicrobial product protection helps prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew on the tank lining surface. Interior and exterior of the three, 2" (51mm) secondary heat exchanger tubes are protected with Vitraglas®.
- Hydrojet® Total Performance System: A sediment-reducing device that also increases the first hour rating of hot water while minimizing temperature build-up in the tank.

- Vertical, Dual-pass Heat Exchanger System: Features an efficient 5" (127mm) helical-finned primary and three 2" (51mm) stainless steel baffled secondary heat exchangers. The vertical design avoids corrosion issues common in less durable heat exchangers.
- Self-priming Condensate Tee: Eliminates the need for trap installation; the internal trap is suitable for condensate pump use.
- Power Vent: A powerful, quiet design that resists outside winds and allows for longer vent lengths through the roof or wall.
- Insulation System: Non-CFC foam covers the tank, reducing heat loss, energy consumption, and improving efficiency and jacket rigidity.
- Pedestal Base: A rugged and durable base that allows for easy transport and positioning while providing corrosion-resistant contact with the floor.
- Water Connections: 3/4" (19mm) NPT factory-installed true dielectric fittings extend water heater life and simplify water line connections.
- 3/4" (19mm) NPT Side Connections.
- Factory installed Heat Traps: Incorporates a flexible disk that reduces heat loss in piping and prevents noise.
- Two Protective Anode Rods: Provide added protection against corrosion for long-term, trouble-free service.
- T&P Relief Valve: Installed.
- Low Restrictive Brass Drain Valve: Features a durable, tamper-proof design.

Propane models feature a Titanium Stabilized Stainless Steel propane burner. For propane (LP) models, change suffix "N" to "X". Uniform Energy Factor and First Hour Rating are based on the latest AHRI directory listings. Optional Condensate Neutralizer Kit: p/n A2123601.
General Information: All gas water heaters are certified at 300 PSI test pressure (2068 kPa) and 150 PSI working pressure (1034 kPa). All water connections are 3/4" NPT (19mm) on 8" (203mm) centers, all gas connections are 1/2" (13mm). All models design certified by CSA International, ANSI standard Z21.10.3 and peak performance rated. Suitable for Water (Potable) Heating and Space Heating. Toxic chemicals, such as those used for boiler treatment, shall NEVER be introduced into this system. This unit may NEVER be connected to any existing heating system or component(s) previously used with a non-potable water heating appliance.
