Step 1 — Taking the rear case off.

- Use the opening tools to open the rear case.
- Be careful when opening the rear case, as the rear case clips can break.
Step 2 — Taking the battery out

- First, use the spudger tool to carefully move the wires from the motherboard.
- Second, use the tool to pry the battery out, starting from the top and then working at the bottom. Be careful when doing this, as there is adhesive under the battery.

Step 3 — Putting the new battery in.
