Getting Started

This guide provides essential steps for setting up and operating your Optoma projector.

Step 1: Connections

Connect the power cable to the projector and a wall outlet. Connect an HDMI cable from your source device (e.g., laptop, media player) to the projector's HDMI input. Connect audio cables if external speakers are used.

Step 2: Remote Pairing

Hold the Bluetooth remote control 3 to 5 inches (approx. 7.5 to 12.5 cm) from the projector's Bluetooth receiver, typically located at the rear. Simultaneously press and hold the OK button and the [select/home button] for 5 seconds to pair the remote control with the projector.

If pairing is unsuccessful during setup, you can pair it later via the projector's Bluetooth settings menu.

Step 3: Adjusting Image

Use the focus ring or buttons on the projector or remote to achieve a sharp image. Use the zoom ring or buttons to adjust the image size.

Step 4: Powering On

Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn the device on. A 5-second indicator may be shown during startup.

Step 5: Using the Interface

The projector displays a user interface for selecting content, apps, and settings. This may include categories like 'Home', 'Movies', 'Free Zone', and 'App Center'. Popular content and subscription options like 'SVIP' may be featured.

Safety Information

• Before operating, read the full safety information in the user manual.
• Do not look directly into the projector lens during operation; the bright light can harm your eyes.
• Ensure projector air vents are not blocked. Do not place the projector on unstable surfaces to prevent damage or injury.
• Use only manufacturer-specified attachments and accessories.
• Prevent objects or liquids from entering the projector to avoid fire or electric shock hazards.
• Do not expose the projector to rain or moisture.
• Operate the projector in an environment that meets the user manual's requirements.
• Avoid installing near heat sources like radiators, heaters, stoves, or other heat-emitting equipment.
• Do not open or disassemble the projector; service should only be performed by authorized personnel to prevent electric shock.
• Always turn off and unplug the projector before maintenance or installation.
• Use a power strip with surge protection to safeguard against power outages and voltage drops.
