1 About this User Manual
This user manual is designed to detail the camera's functions and features. Please read this manual carefully before using the camera to ensure safe and proper use. Descriptions are based on the camera's factory default settings. PROVISION-ISR continuously strives to improve its products. Due to software upgrading, some contents in this user manual may vary from your product.
2 Warnings!
- For your own safety, please do not install or operate while driving.
- Before using for the first time, we recommend to format the memory card.
- Built-in battery operational time is around 30 minutes; please connect to a power source for daily use.
- Do not attempt to remove the camera mount forcefully.
- Do not dismantle or open the camera.
- Do not put any weight on the camera as it may damage the screen.
- If the camera is not responding, please try to reset it by pressing the reset button ?.
- Please keep the camera lens clean.
3 Package Contents
The package includes:
- 360° FHD Car Dash Camera: The main recording unit.
- Back Camera: An additional camera for rear view recording.
- Car Charger: Powers the dash camera via the car's cigarette lighter socket.
- Quick Guide: This installation manual.
4 Camera Controls Introduction
The dash camera features a 4.5 inch HD Touch Screen and a 360° Lens.
Key Ports and Buttons:
- Micro SD (TF) Card Slot: For storing video recordings.
- AV-in / Back Camera Slot: Connection for the back camera.
- USB/Power Slot: For connecting the car charger.
- Reset Button ?: Used to reset the camera if it becomes unresponsive.
- Display ON/OFF / Power Button: Controls the screen and power.
- Microphone: Captures audio.
5 Dash cam Installation
- Insert Micro SD Card: Before starting video recording, insert a Micro SD card (not included) into the slot until it locks in place. The Micro SD (TF) card can be up to 64GB (class 10 and above is recommended). The card needs to be formatted, which can be done using the camera (explained on Page 8).
- Connect Back Camera: Insert the "Back Camera" cable and plug the back camera connector to the Dash camera.
- Connect Power: Lay the "car charger" cable provided in the box, connecting the camera to the car's cigarette lighter socket. Plug the "Mini USB" side into the camera and the Car Charger side into the car's cigarette lighter socket.
Ready to go! When the car's engine is turned on, the camera will switch on automatically and start video recording. When the car's engine is turned off, the camera will automatically turn off.
6 Initial Settings
1. Set Date & Time:
Follow these steps to set the date and time:
- Click the screen display menu.
- Click the ⚙️ icon to enter system setting, then click the ⚙️ icon again to enter system setting menu.
- Click on the displayed date to set the current date.
- Click on the displayed time to set the current time.
2. Format SD Card:
Formatting the Micro SD (TF) card is recommended for optimal performance.
- Click the ⚙️ icon to enter "Setting", then click the "System" setting ⚙️ icon to enter system settings.
- Click the "Format" option to format the Micro SD (TF) card. A confirmation prompt will appear stating "Formatting will delete all data". Click "Confirm" (1) to proceed.
- After formatting, a message "TF card is inserted" will be shown if the TF card was formatted successfully. The screen will indicate "Formatting..." with a progress bar.
7 Menu Instructions
A. Standby Mode:
In standby mode, the screen displays:
- Date and Time
- Battery Status ?
- Charging Symbol ? (if connected to power)
- Icons for main functions:
- Start recording ?: Click to start recording video.
- Snap Shot ?: Click to take a picture.
- Playback ?️: Click to view video and picture files.
- Setting ⚙️: Enter system settings.
- View Mode ?️: Switch among different display modes.
B. Recording Mode:
When the camera is recording, a red dot ? will flash. The screen will display:
- Date and Time
- Battery Status ?
- Charging Symbol ?
- Video Lock ?: Click to lock the current video file and protect it from being deleted.
- View Mode ?️: Switch among different display modes.
Clicking anywhere on the screen during recording brings up a menu to stop recording ?, take a snapshot ?, lock the video ?, or change the view mode ?️.
C. Playback Mode:
Click the screen to display the menu, then click the playback icon ?️ to view recorded files. You can browse files by:
- Front Camera: Front 360° camera video files.
- Back Camera: Back camera video files.
- Pictures: Saved still images.
D. Display Mode:
The camera supports multiple display modes:
- 360° Mode: Provides a full 360° view of the car's interior and exterior. Swipe to experience the full 360° view. Notice: Lens must point down for optimal 360° viewing.
- 180° Mode: Offers a wide-angle view, suitable for use as a traditional front windshield camera. Notice: Lens must point towards the front windshield.
- Front & Back Mode: Displays two independent 180° panoramic views, one for the front and one for the back. Notice: Lens must point down to enjoy 360° mode.
- 4CH Mode: Displays the 360° camera in four independent 90° channel views. Each channel can be swapped to different 360° directions to adjust the view angle as needed.
E. Parking Mode:
When the car's engine is turned off, the dash cam displays an option menu:
- Power off ?: The dash cam will turn off immediately.
- Parking Monitor ?️: The dash cam enters "Parking Mode" after 1 minute. This mode monitors for unusual events when the car is parked. If the G-sensor detects impact or vibration, the camera will automatically turn on and record a 10-second video clip, which is auto-locked to prevent deletion.
- Cancel ❌: The camera will continue to operate normally until you stop the operation, then it will turn off automatically.
8 Menu Settings
Record Setting:
- File Duration: Set the duration for each video clip (1 min, 2 min, 5 min).
- G-Sensor Sensitivity: Adjust the G-sensor sensitivity level (Low, Middle, High).
- Voice Recording: Enable or disable voice recording (Open/Off).
- Auto Display Off: Set the screen display auto-off function (20Sec, 1Min, Off). ✔️
System Setting:
- Language: Set the On-Screen Display (OSD) language.
- Volume: Adjust the volume level.
- Time Set: Set the system date and time.
- Memory Format: Format the memory card.
- Reset Settings: Restore default settings ✔️.
- Version: Displays the current firmware version.

10 Setup Computer Software for Playback
While 360° dash cam video files can be played in common video players (like VLC) in fisheye mode, a true 360° video experience requires the dedicated VeSee 360° video player. This player is embedded on your SD card.
The VeSee 360° video player is compatible with Windows computers only. To install it, double-click the "VeSee_setup.exe" file found on your SD card's main directory and follow the installation wizard steps:
- Welcome Page: Displays introductory information about the installer. Click "Next" to continue.
- Choose an installation location: Select the folder where VeSee will be installed. You can use the default location or browse for a different one. Click "Next" to proceed.
- Ready to Install: Confirms the installation settings. Click "Next" to begin the installation.
- Installation Successful: Indicates that the installation is complete. Click "Finish" to exit the installer.

12 Special Features
- Loop Recording: The camera records continuously, overwriting the earliest footage when storage is full. This allows non-stop recording with limited storage space.
- G-Sensor: Detects movement, collisions, or sudden acceleration/deceleration. In such events, the camera protects the most recent footage from being overwritten.
- Auto Power On/Off: The camera automatically turns on and starts recording when the car's engine is on, and turns off when the engine is off.
- Battery Indicator: Shows the battery level:
- Full battery ?
- Slightly low battery ?
- Low battery ?
- Battery empty ?
- Reset: If the camera becomes abnormal or crashes during use, press the RESET button ? to reset the camera operating system.
13 Troubleshooting
- Problem: Cannot take photo or record.
- Solution: Check if the Micro SD card has enough space or if it is locked.
- Problem: Automatic stop while recording.
- Solution: Use a compatible high-speed Micro SD card (Class 10 and above).
- Problem: "File error" appears when replaying video or photo.
- Solution: Micro SD card storage error; please format your Micro SD card.
- Problem: Unclear video.
- Solution: Check for any dirt or fingerprints on the lens, and use a lens cloth to clean the camera lens.
- Problem: Black image when recording sky or water scenes.
- Solution: Scenes with high contrast can affect the automatic exposure. Adjust 'EV' in the setting mode to correct exposure.
