II Overview
2.1 Brief Introduction
Established in 2018, Shenzhen Waydoo Intelligence Technology Co.,Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, and sales of water sports high-tech products. Waydoo launched the Waydoo Subnado, an underwater scooter, through technical innovations. Subnado features an advanced built-in battery design with a 98Wh lithium battery, brushless motor, motor drive, control, and charging circuit within a 60mm aluminum cylinder. It utilizes a USB-C charging system supporting fast charging protocols like PD 3.0, charging up to 100W. The power system uses a small diameter injection pump for propulsion efficiency, achieving up to 6.5 kg thrust. Its compact size and portability make it ideal for travel. Waydoo offers accessories like board and arm mounts for various scenarios. The quick-release & installation system allows for easy switching between scenarios.

V Assembly Steps
Install the handle bracket on the main unit and the Wired Thumb Controller in the corresponding position.
Accessories Use Instruction: Use M4X8 screws to connect the handgrip to the Arm mount.
Arm Mount Assembly:
- Hold the handgrip and place the Arm mount on the outside of the forearm. Wrap the strap 1-2 times depending on arm circumference.
- Fasten the gourd buckle on one end of the strap.
- Wrap the strap 2-3 times according to forearm circumference and fix with nylon tape.
- Install the main unit to the Arm mount via the quick-release part.
Leg Mount Assembly:
- Fix the Subnado leg mount to the outside of the leg. Install the main unit to the leg mount via the quick-release part. Note: Use the specially designed straps for the leg mount.
- Fasten the belt around the waist. Pass the straps through the holes above the leg mount and fix with nylon straps.
Cylinder Bracket Assembly: Install the cylinder bracket on the oxygen cylinder; the main unit can be installed via the quick-release part.
Board Bracket Assembly: Tear off the sticker on the board bracket and glue it to the bottom of the board (e.g., surfboard). Install the main unit via the quick-release part to the board bracket.
Subnado Accessories Mount: Install the accessories mount on the main unit and tighten screws.
Subnado Water Cannon Kit Installation:
- Unscrew the main unit's rear cover clockwise.
- Install the shell onto the rear cover. Press the nozzle base down to connect the hose to the shell.
- Water Cannon Kit installation complete. Note: Turn clockwise with force. When you feel two distinct jumps, the thread is in the best position. Apply force along the motor axis and rotate the shell counterclockwise. Otherwise, installation may be difficult or crooked.
Finger Safe Guard Installation: If fingers are slender and you are concerned about injury, install the finger safe-guard. (Note: Using the finger safe-guard increases water resistance, leading to higher power consumption, reduced efficiency, battery life, and thrust).
- Unscrew the rear cover clockwise, remove the O-ring, and take off the propeller.
- Remove the pin.
- Insert the finger safe-guard into the groove, ensuring each end is pressed into place and engaged with the notch.
- Place the pin correctly and assemble the propeller.
- Install the O-ring, align the rear cover center with the shaft, and tighten the rear cover counterclockwise.
For assembly and use of other accessories, refer to relevant documents on the official website: www.waydootech.com.

IX Maintenance
9.1 Cleaning after use
After each use, rinse the product to maintain corrosion resistance and extend its life. Follow these principles:
- After use in seawater, rinse the body shell with fresh water and dry it to prevent exterior corrosion and discoloration.
- Ensure the waterproof cover is tightened before rinsing with fresh water.
- Check for and clean any stones, salt, sand, or dirt from parts like connectors and propellers.
- If foreign objects are wrapped around the propeller, remove the main unit's rear cover to clean.
- After cleaning the main body, remove the waterproof cover and clean the charging port with clean, dry cotton swabs to ensure no water, sand, or foreign objects remain.
- Dry the main unit before removing the waterproof cover to prevent seawater from dripping into the USB-C port. If water enters the port, dry it immediately.
- If seawater enters the wired thumb controller's connector, clean with fresh water or alcohol and dry promptly to avoid poor contact due to corrosion.
- If the shell's oxide layer is damaged, repair it promptly to prevent accelerated corrosion.
9.2 Storage
Follow these storage guidelines:
- Ensure the power switch is off. Keep the product away from strong magnetic environments that might turn it on and drain the battery.
- Store within the temperature range of -10°C to 50°C.
- Do not store in humid, direct sunlight, or other harsh environments that may damage electronic devices.
- Do not place near open flames or within reach of minors under 16.
- Prevent the battery from over-discharging due to prolonged non-use.
- If storing for a long time, ensure the battery level is between 50% and 62.5%. Charge the unit to 50-62.5% every three months.
