How to troubleshoot when network pairing failed?
- A. Power Status: Check if the equipment is powered on and turned on.
- B. Mode Status: Ensure the equipment is in EZ or AP mode.
- C. iOS 14 Permissions: Confirm local network and wireless data permissions are enabled for the app.
- D. Router Load: If the network is normal but configuration fails, check if the router is overloaded. Try turning off Wi-Fi on another device.
- F. Password Accuracy: Verify the entered router password is correct, paying attention to spaces and capitalization.
- G. Wi-Fi Broadcast: Ensure Wi-Fi broadcast is enabled, not hidden, and uses the 2.4G frequency band.
- H. Encryption Settings: Set router encryption to WPA2-PSK, authentication to AES, or automatic. Avoid "11n only" wireless mode.
- I. MAC Filtering: If MAC address filtering is enabled, remove the device from the list or disable filtering.
- J. DHCP Service: Ensure the router's DHCP service is enabled.
- K. AP Mode Connection: In AP mode, ensure the phone is fully connected to the device's hotspot before returning to the app.
- L. Insecure Network: Some phone systems may flag device hotspots as insecure; trust the hotspot in phone settings.
- M. Cloud Registration Issues: If stuck on "register to the cloud," there might be compatibility issues between the device and router.
- N. Hardware Problem: If connection issues persist, consider a potential hardware problem with the device.
- O. Hotspot Test: Use a mobile phone to create a hotspot and another phone to connect to it for network configuration.
If no issues are found, power cycle the device and repeat the network distribution process.
