- Install the handle on the left side of the door.
Installation of your wine chiller
This appliance is designed for free-standing installation or flush-in installation. Place the wine chiller on a floor strong enough to support it when fully loaded. Adjust the front leveling legs to level the unit. Locate the wine chiller away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating, and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also affect performance. Avoid locating the unit in moist areas.
Plug the Wine Chiller into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall outlet. Do not cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord under any circumstances. Direct any questions concerning power and/or grounding to a certified electrician or an authorized service center.
Electrical connection
Warning: Improper use of the grounded plug can result in electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by an authorized service center.
This appliance must be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord has a three-prong plug that mates with standard three-prong wall outlets to minimize electrical shock risk. Do not remove the third ground prong. For personal safety, proper grounding is essential.
This appliance requires a standard 115V/60Hz electrical ground outlet with a three-prong connection. Ensure the wall outlet and circuit are checked by a qualified electrician for proper grounding. If a standard 2-prong wall outlet is encountered, it is your responsibility to have it replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet. The cord should be secured behind the appliance and not left exposed or dangling to prevent accidental injury.
The appliance should always be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet matching the appliance's voltage rating. This ensures optimal performance and prevents overloading house wiring circuits, which could cause a fire hazard from overheating. Never unplug by pulling the power cord; grip the plug firmly and pull straight out. Repair or replace frayed or damaged power cords immediately. Do not use cords with cracks or abrasion damage. Be careful not to damage the power cord when moving the appliance.
Extension cord
Due to potential safety hazards, it is strongly recommended not to use an extension cord with this appliance. If an extension cord must be used, it should be operated by professionals.
Power bar with surge protection
Most electrical appliances use control boards susceptible to power surges. If the appliance is used in an area prone to power surges or outages, it is suggested to use a power surge protector for all electrical devices. Select a surge protector with a surge block high enough to protect the appliance. Contact a licensed electrician for questions regarding surge protector types and sizes. Damages due to power surges are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty and will void the product warranty.
Installing the stainless steel handle
This wine chiller includes a stainless steel handle. Follow these instructions for installation:
- Pull away the door gasket in the area where the handle is to be installed on the left side, as shown in Illustration #1. The gasket is easily displaced by hand; no tools are necessary.
- Align the handle with the installed screws. Tighten the screws using a Phillips head screwdriver until the handle is flush and securely against the door frame. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the handle assembly.
- Replace the door gasket to its original position.
- If you choose not to use the supplied handle, follow step 1 to access the installation screws, remove them, and then place the two decorative plugs into the holes. Then, proceed to step 3 to replace the door gasket.
Illustration #1 shows pulling the gasket and aligning the handle. Illustration #2 shows the handle attached. The numbered items refer to: 1. Gasket, 2. Phillips Head Screw, 3. Phillips Head Screw Driver, 4. Handle.

Cleaning your wine chiller
Turn off the power, unplug the appliance, and remove all items, including shelves. Wash the inside surfaces with a warm water and baking soda solution (approximately 2 tablespoons of baking soda per 1 cup of water). Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution. Wring out excess water from the sponge or cloth when cleaning around controls or electrical parts. Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use steel wool or steel brushes on stainless steel, as this can contaminate the surface and cause rusting.
Removing Shelf
To avoid damaging the door seal, open the door fully when sliding out shelves. Shelves can be pulled out by 1/3 for convenience. The product is designed with shelf holders to prevent shelves from pulling over and falling out. To remove a shelf from the cabinet, pull it out until the notch of the shelf is under the plastic post, then lift it up and out. (See diagram below).
Diagram illustrating how to remove a shelf by aligning a notch with a plastic post.
Power failure
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the appliance's temperature if the door is opened minimally. If the power will be off for an extended period, take steps to protect your contents.
Moving your wine chiller
- Remove all items (bottles).
- Securely tape down all loose items (shelves) inside the appliance.
- Turn the adjustable legs up towards the base to avoid damage.
- Tape the door shut.
- Ensure the appliance remains secure in the upright position during transportation. If horizontal transport is necessary, place the chiller on its back (door on top) and protect the exterior with a blanket or similar item.
Energy saving tips
The wine chiller should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat-producing appliances and direct sunlight.
Charcoal filtration system
Wine is a living object that breathes through the cork. To preserve the quality and taste of fine wines, they must be stored at ideal temperature and ambient conditions. This cellar is equipped with an active charcoal filtration system for air purity, cooling efficiency, and an odor-free cabinet. The filter assembly is located at the rear panel inside the cellar. The filter must be changed every 12 months.
Filter Replacement Steps:
