This section details the components and features of the ATK Dragonfly A9 series mice.
- 1. Type-C Port: For charging and wired connection.
- 2. Left Mouse Button: Primary click button.
- 3. Right Mouse Button: Secondary click button.
- 4. Scroll Wheel: For scrolling and middle-click functionality.
- 5. LED Indicator: Displays status like battery level and connection mode.
- 6. Forward Side Button: Navigates forward in applications.
- 7. Back Side Button: Navigates backward in applications.
- 8. Feet Area: Low-friction pads for smooth gliding.
- 9. Optical Sensor: Tracks movement on various surfaces.
- 10. DPI Button: Cycles through different sensitivity (DPI) settings.
- 11. Power Switch: Toggles the mouse on/off or selects connection mode (e.g., OFF, BT).
- 12. Data Cable: Type-C cable for charging and wired use.
- 13. 1K/8K Dongle: Wireless receiver for 2.4GHz connection. The A9 Pro Max exclusively uses an 8K NANO receiver.
02 Quick Start
Get your ATK Dragonfly A9 mouse up and running quickly.
Charging / Wired Mode:
Connect the mouse using the provided Type-C data cable.
Wireless Mode:
1. Connect the 1K/8K dongle to your computer. 2. Ensure the mouse's power switch is set to the wireless mode (e.g., BT or 2.4GHz). 3. The mouse should automatically connect to the dongle.
Wireless connection range: Recommended < 2m, Maximum > 10m.
03 DPI Adjustment
Adjust mouse sensitivity (DPI) for optimal performance.
On-the-Fly DPI Switching:
Press the DPI button located at the bottom of the mouse to cycle through preset DPI levels. The LED indicator shows the current DPI:
- Red Light: 400 DPI
- Green Light: 800 DPI
- Blue Light: 1600 DPI
- Purple Light: 3200 DPI
Software-Based DPI Settings:

. The software allows setting DPI within specific ranges:
- ATK Dragonfly A9 SE: 200-12000 DPI
- ATK Dragonfly A9: 200-18000 DPI
- ATK Dragonfly A9 Plus: 100-26000 DPI
- ATK Dragonfly A9 Pro: 100-26000 DPI
- ATK Dragonfly A9 Ultra: 10-42000 DPI
- ATK Dragonfly A9 Pro Max: 100-29999 DPI
04 Polling Rate Setting
The polling rate can be adjusted directly through the ATK software for optimal responsiveness.
05 Battery Status Indication
Monitor your mouse's battery level via the LED indicator:
- Blinking Red: Battery level below 20%, requires charging.
- Blinking Orange: Mouse is currently charging.
- Solid Green: Charging is complete.
06 Wireless Connection
Connect your mouse wirelessly via NearLink/Bluetooth or the 2.4GHz dongle.
NearLink/Bluetooth Connection:
With the [NearLink/Bluetooth] switch in the appropriate state, long-press the left, right, and center buttons simultaneously for over 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. This will disconnect from the receiver and initiate pairing with other NearLink/Bluetooth devices.
Indicator Lights:
- Pairing: Blue fast flashing.
- Connection/Reconnection Successful: Solid Blue.
- Reconnecting Status: Blue slow flashing.
07 Software Download & 8K Receiver Pairing
To utilize advanced features and ensure optimal performance, download the latest software and firmware from the official ATK website.
Steps for 8K Receiver Pairing:
- Visit the official website:

and navigate to the driver/firmware download section. - Connect the 8K receiver to your computer using a Type-C data cable.
- Upgrade the firmware of your compatible mouse to the latest version.
- On the ATK website's download page, go to the settings section to initiate receiver pairing.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the 8K receiver with your mouse.
- Once pairing is successful, the 8K receiver indicator will light up. You can then set the polling rate in the driver software under the mouse's performance settings.
08 Warranty Service & Precautions
ATK provides a one-year limited warranty for its products.
Warranty Details:
- Warranty Period: One year from the date of purchase.
- 15-Day Replacement: For quality issues within 15 days of receipt, contact customer service for replacement. Return shipping costs are covered by ATK.
- 1-Year Repair: For quality issues within one year, contact customer service for repair. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
- Non-Warranty Cases: Damage due to personal reasons (liquid spills, physical damage, improper use, unauthorized modifications, etc.) is not covered. Customers may opt for paid repairs.
Important Precautions:
- Do not alter the warranty service card.
- Keep proof of purchase (invoice, receipt).
- Use the product according to the user manual.
- Avoid operating in non-standard environments or exposing to foreign objects.
- Unauthorized disassembly or modification voids the warranty.
Regulatory Compliance:
The 2.4G function complies with micro-power short-range radio transmission device requirements. Users must adhere to regulations regarding electromagnetic protection and avoid interference with other legitimate radio stations. Specific restrictions apply in areas like airports.
