This guide provides essential information to get you started with your Aranet2 device.

What Aranet2 Monitors

Temperature

The temperature measurement range is from 0 to 50 °C (32 to 122 °F).

Relative Humidity

The relative humidity measurement range is from 0 to 99 %. Low humidity (below 30 %) can cause skin drying and irritation. High humidity (above 50 %) can promote bacteria and mold breeding.

Getting Started

Battery Installation

Insert the batteries, and your Aranet2 is ready for use.

⚠️ CAUTION

  • The Aranet2 is not impact resistant.
  • Do not leave an Aranet2 in direct sunlight or freezing temperatures.

Device Overview

The Aranet2 device features a display showing key measurements and status indicators.

Display Elements:

  • 1. Relative Humidity (%): Displays the current relative humidity level.
  • 2. Battery Level: Indicates the remaining battery power.
  • 3. Temperature (°C, °F): Shows the current temperature.
  • 4. Unique Device ID: A unique identifier for the device (e.g., E0B39).

The display shows real-time readings, such as 31.1% humidity and 21.4°C temperature, along with the battery status and device ID.

Configuration Switches

Switches are located behind the batteries. Use the provided pin to adjust settings:

  • Not used: This switch position is not utilized.
  • Temperature Units: Switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
  • Bluetooth: Turn Bluetooth on or off for connection to the Aranet Home app. (OFF position shown)
  • Connection to Aranet PRO base station: For Aranet2 PRO models, this switch configures connection to an Aranet PRO base station. (OFF position shown)

Download the Aranet Home app to connect your smartphone to the Aranet2 and manage your data.
