IKEA has clear requirements for all the wood used, including a ban on illegally harvested wood. By 2020, IKEA aims for all wood to come from more sustainable sources, defined as certified or recycled.

The material in this product may be recyclable. Please check the recycling rules in your community and if recycling facilities exist in your area.

SAFETY

Secure It! Prevent tip-over injury. Furniture with included restraints must be secured to the wall according to the assembly instructions.

Different wall materials require different types of hardware. Use hardware (sold separately) suitable for the walls in your home.

For higher stability, complete every second section with a cross-brace.

Assembly and Combination Guide

By combining parts in the IVAR storage system, you can put the space you have to best use. Start by thinking about your needs and your space. Then, combine different heights and depths, make use of corners, and add the finishing touch with cabinets and doors.

Tired of boxes and things scattered all over your office? With the IVAR storage system, you can quickly organize office supplies, paper piles, and binders. It's easy to put everything in order.

Drill into the solid wood side units and add hooks. Paint or stain the entire shelf in a color you really like. The possibilities are many – even if the space is limited.

HOW TO BUILD

Start by thinking about what you want to store and the space you have available. For the first section, you need two side units, shelves, and a cross-brace. Extend sideways, either at the same height or a different one. For each additional section, you need just one side unit, which you link to the storage solution with shelves or a cabinet. To ensure stability, IKEA recommends fitting a cross-brace to every other section.

Take this order to the check-outs and pay for your purchases both goods and services. And you're on your way!
