DocumentDocument2-Way Intercom Order ref: 952.065UK User Manual A two station, energy saving, telephone style intercom with a simple two wire connection, allowing 2-way conversation. It features a call button with adjustable call tone level. Both units are powered by 4x AA batteries (not supplied). Features: · Can be free standing or wall mounted (brackets supplied) · Maximum transmission range 200m · Easy to set up and operate · 8m of 2 wire connecting cable supplied (use 808.207UK for up to 100m distance) · Both units require 4 x AA batteries (not supplied) In the box: · 2pcs indoor call unit · 2pcs Wall bracket · 8m of 2-wire connecting cable · User guide Installation: Recommended cable specification 1. Fix the mounting brackets for each unit to the wall using the fixings provided, carefully ensuring they are mounted securely away from doors or walkways where they could get knocked or damaged. 2. If you need the units to be further apart than the 8m of cable supplied, please ensure you use the correct diameter of cable recommended for the transmission distance as indicated in the table above. 3. Insert 4x AA batteries into the compartment on the back of each unit, carefully ensuring they are inserted with the correct polarity as indicated on the inside of the compartment. 4. Slide each call unit downwards onto the mounting brackets ensuring the pins on both sides are located correctly inside the slots. www.avsl.com 952.065UK User Manual Operation Instructions: 1. Press the talk button on either unit to call the other unit. 2. The melody volume can be adjusted on either unit using the rocker switch on the left-hand side (see diagram opposite). 3. Once both handsets are picked up the units are live and using power until they are both replaced onto the base units. 4. If reception in either unit is of poor quality, check and replace the batteries accordingly. 5. If not in use for a long period, please remove the batteries to avoid leakages and damage to the units.
