The new transcritical Copeland CO2 Scroll technology is a groundbreaking development!

At the core of the new condensing units is a novel transcritical CO2 compressor featuring dynamic vapor injection (DVI). DVI allows flash gas to be injected directly into the compressor, ensuring efficient and smooth operation regardless of ambient temperatures, thereby preventing downtime during summer months. An intelligent control concept manages all system components, enabling efficient and reliable operation with consistently high food quality. The use of tandem compressors and active oil management further supports long-term reliability and food preservation.

The new series includes four models for normal cooling with a cooling capacity ranging from 15 to 46kW, suitable for applications up to 44°C ambient temperature. This broad performance range meets the requirements of a variety of store architectures and their cooling needs. Thanks to the extended cooling capacity, the entire cooling requirement can be met with a limited number of condensing units in a decentralized architecture. The new models feature dynamic vapor injection (DVI) and are equipped with the highest control intelligence, making CO2 a safe, reliable, economical, and easy-to-handle refrigerant across all climate zones. The innovative control concept includes unique functions such as envelope control and fault detection, as well as diagnostic functions that ensure reliable operation and reduce the risk of food spoilage. Furthermore, high static pressure, a wide modulation range, and envelope management prevent system shutdowns.
