Operation and Connectivity
To operate, the SNZB-04 requires connection to a compatible ZigBee gateway, such as the SONOFF ZigBee Bridge. Users can download the eWeLink app to manage the device and set up automations. The sensor pairs by long-pressing its reset button until the LED indicator flashes.
Installation Guidelines
Installation involves attaching the transmitter and magnet components to the door/window and its frame. Key considerations include aligning the mark lines on both parts and ensuring the gap between them is less than 10mm when the door or window is closed. The device is lightweight and recommended for installation at heights below 2 meters.
