The Yale YF 1063MHK digital door lock features a sleek design with integrated components for secure and convenient access. The exterior unit includes a battery cover with monitor, a face recognition area, a visual door viewer, a fingerprint sensor, a keypad/key card area, an indicator light, and a key cover for emergency power supply. The interior unit features an indoor handle, a lock knob, and an unlock button.
To restore factory settings, press and hold the door open/close button on the rear panel for approximately 6 seconds. A voice prompt will confirm "Initialization successful". Press the # key to confirm. After initialization, any fingerprint can unlock, and the system default password is "123456". This default password is automatically deleted once administrator information is entered.
Notice: This function is only for installation and adjustment personnel. Operate with caution. This function can only be operated after restoring to factory default state.
These instructions are for installation and adjustment personnel only. The process involves setting the door opening direction (left/right), motor button force (low/medium/high), and reversing time (100-900 milliseconds). The button force and reversal time must be set appropriately to ensure normal locking operation.
If an incorrect password is entered more than 5 times consecutively, an alarm will trigger for 15 seconds. The alarm will persist if incorrect entries continue but will automatically cancel after 180 seconds or upon correct verification.
To enhance security, users can enter dummy digits before and after their actual password, then press the # key to confirm. The password must be between 6 and 16 digits and included within the input content.
The system automatically enters low power mode after 8 seconds of inactivity.
When the voltage drops below 7.0V, the system will prompt "Battery is low, please replace the battery in time" each time the lock is unlocked. The lock can still be unlocked approximately 50 times after the prompt. It is essential to replace or charge the battery before the remaining unlock count reaches zero.
If the internal battery is exhausted, the 5V Type-C emergency charging port can be used to unlock the door. This port is for emergency use only and should not be used if the battery is charged.
Always keep the emergency key outside the door in a safe place. It can be used to unlock the electronic door if it cannot be opened otherwise.
To access the menu, press * + # or short press the Settings switch. Enter the initial administrator password (123456) for verification.
Access via * + # or Settings switch, then enter administrator fingerprint/password/card.
Access via * + # or Settings switch, then enter administrator fingerprint/password/card.
Step 1: Download the Tuya APP. Search for "Tuya APP" in your app store.
Step 2: Open the Tuya APP.
Access via * + # or Settings switch, then enter administrator fingerprint/password/card.
This process allows generating temporary passwords via the WeChat app.
Regular maintenance helps keep the door lock looking new. Use a soft, clean, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid water, alcohol, or acidic chemical cleaners. Periodically, a professional should apply lubricating oil or grease to the moving parts and replace any severely worn components.
If the door lock's power is too low to unlock, an external emergency power supply (Type-C) can be used. After unlocking, the battery should be removed for charging as soon as possible. This is for emergency use only; do not use if the battery is charged.
If the door deforms, it may cause excessive friction with the latch, leading to incomplete extension or failure. In such cases, the position of the strike plate should be adjusted.
