Proper Use
The compressor is designed to generate compressed air for compressed-air driven tools requiring up to approximately 110 l/min air volume (e.g., tire inflator, blow-out pistol, paint spray gun). It is not suitable for tools with very high air consumption like orbital sanders, die grinders, and hammer screwdrivers.
The compressor must only be operated in a dry, well-ventilated indoor space. Use must be in accordance with the intended manner; any other use is improper. The user/operator is responsible for damages or injuries resulting from improper use.
This equipment is not designed for commercial or industrial purposes. Scheppach assumes no guarantee if used in commercial or industrial applications.
Safety Information
General Safety Measures: Observe basic safety measures for protection against electric shock, injury, and fire. Read all notices before use and store instructions for reference.
Safe Work Practices:
- Work Area: Keep orderly to prevent accidents. Take environmental influences into account; do not expose to rain or use in damp/wet environments (risk of electric shock). Ensure good illumination. Do not use where there is a risk of fire or explosion.
- Electric Shock Protection: Avoid contact with earthed parts (pipes, radiators, etc.).

Attachment and Operation
Attention! Ensure the device is fully assembled before commissioning.
Required for assembly (not included): 1x open-ended spanner 14 mm, 1x Phillips screwdriver.
8.1 Fitting the wheels (fig. 3)
Fit the supplied wheels as shown.
8.2 Installing the supporting foot (fig. 4)
Fit the supplied supporting foot as shown.
8.3 Installing the air filter (fig. 5, 6)
Remove the transport lid (15) and screw the air filter (4) to the equipment. Insert the hose (4d) into the opening of the air filter (4).
8.4 Mains connection
The compressor has a mains cable with a protective contact plug. Connect to a 220–240 V~ 50 Hz protective contact socket with at least 16 A fuse protection.
Ensure mains voltage matches operating voltage and machine power on the rating plate. Long supply cables, extensions, or cable reels can cause voltage drop and impede motor start-up. At temperatures below +5°C, starting may be difficult or impossible.
8.5 On/Off switch (fig. 1)
Pull the On/Off switch (3) upwards to switch on. Press it down to switch off.
8.6 Setting the pressure (fig. 1, 2)
Use the pressure regulator (14) to set the pressure on the pressure gauge (12). The set pressure is available at the quick couplings (10, 11). Vessel pressure is shown on pressure gauge (13).
8.7 Setting the pressure switch (fig. 1)
The pressure switch (2) is factory set: Cut-in pressure approx. 6 bar, Cut-out pressure approx. 8 bar.
8.8 Fitting the compressed air hose (fig. 1, 2)
Connect the plug nipple of the compressed air hose (not included) to one of the quick couplings (10, 11). Attach the compressed air tool to the quick coupling of the hose.
Electrical connection
The electrical motor is connected and ready for operation. Ensure your mains connection and any extension cable comply with applicable VDE and DIN provisions.
When working with spray attachments or for temporary outdoor use, connect to a residual current circuit breaker with a trigger current of 30 mA or less.
9.1 Important information
The motor will switch off automatically in case of overloading. It can be switched back on after a cool-down period.
9.2 Damaged electrical connection cable
Damaged insulation on electrical connection cables can be caused by pressure points, kinks, cutting, being ripped out of the socket, or aging. Such cables are life-threatening and must not be used. Regularly check connection cables for damage, ensuring power is disconnected. Use only connection cables of the same designation, with mandatory type designation printing.
9.3 AC motor
Mains voltage must be 220–240 V~ 50 Hz. Extension cables up to 25 m must have a 1.5 mm² cross-section. Connections and repairs on electrical equipment must only be carried out by electricians.
When making enquiries, provide: Type of current for the motor, data from the machine type plate, and data from the motor type plate.
Cleaning, maintenance and storage
Attention! Pull out the mains plug before any cleaning or maintenance. Wait until the equipment has cooled down. Always depressurise the equipment before cleaning or maintenance.
10.1 Cleaning
Keep the device free of dust and dirt. Clean with a clean cloth or blow off with compressed air at low pressure. Clean after every use. Use a damp cloth and mild soap for regular cleaning; avoid aggressive cleaning agents or solvents. Ensure no water penetrates the device interior. Disconnect hoses and injection tools before cleaning. Do not clean the compressor with water, solvents, or similar.
10.2 Maintaining the pressure vessel (fig. 1)
To ensure a long service life, drain condensate after each use by opening the drain screw (6) counter-clockwise. Check the pressure vessel (8) for rust and damage before each use. Do not use if damaged or rusty; contact customer service.
10.3 Safety valve (fig. 7)
The safety valve (9) is factory set. Do not adjust it or remove the connection lock (9b). Actuate the safety valve every 30 operating hours, or at least 3 times a year, by pulling the valve rod outwards. Tighten the exhaust nut (9a) clockwise.
10.4 Cleaning the air filter (fig. 8, 9)
Clean the air filter (4) after every 300 operating hours. Remove the air filter (4) counter-clockwise. Open the filter cover (4c), remove the filter element (4b). Tap out components and blow them out with compressed air (approx. 3 bar). Reassemble in reverse order.
10.5 Service information
Wearing parts include the air filter. These may not be included in the scope of supply.
10.6 Storage
Attention! Pull out the mains plug. Ventilate the equipment and connected tools. Store the compressor so it cannot be used by unauthorized persons. Store only in a dry location inaccessible to unauthorized persons. Always store upright.
10.6.1 Releasing excess pressure
Release excess pressure by switching off the compressor and using the remaining compressed air with a tool or blowout pistol.
Transport
Use the transport handle (1) for transport. Note the compressor's weight. Ensure the load is well secured when transporting in a motor vehicle.
Disposal and recycling
Packaging is raw material and can be reused or recycled. Dispose of defective components at special waste disposal sites. Consult your specialist dealer or municipal administration.
