- Protein BCA application: A standard curve is required for colorimetric protein analysis and support to import a standard curve. Run blank and measurement on pedestal and cuvette. Protein BCA experiment data can be viewed in the History page. Ability to customize which columns are displayed in History and in the measurement acquisition screen. Export data in multiple file formats (.tsv and .ned). Support import of .ned/.sql files and PC Viewer database files into History.
- Print reports added the units with the concentration column
Resolved Issues
- Negative concentration display: Released applications display the negative concentration value instead of showing ‘NA’.
- Export files: Protein A280 concentration results exported in .tsv files supporting three decimal points.
- Analytical Wavelength in UV-Vis: This version resolved an issue where the analytical wavelength was not worked in UV-Vis application.

- Show monitored wavelength: Show and Print extra monitored wavelength in Nucleic Acids and Protein applications.

- Export files: Fixed a formatting issue when exporting .tsv data on French and Danish operation systems.
- PC viewer Custom method: Fixed Custom Method from PC viewer cannot import to NanoDrop One PC software.

- Protein Editor: User-entered protein extinction coefficients in the Protein Editor can be selected from the Protein A280 drop-down menu.
- Protein A280: Calculate protein concentration based on user defined factor, run blank and measurement on pedestal and cuvette, supports baseline correction. Protein A280 experiment data can be viewed in the History detail page. Ability to customize what columns are displayed in History and in the measurement acquisition screen. Acclaro contaminant analysis/ bubble detection includes a check for blank and measurement. Export data in multiple file formats (.tsv and .ned). Support to import .ned/.sql file and PC viewer database files in History.
- Custom
- Custom Methods: Formula and standard curve custom methods can be created in the Custom method application. Run blank and measurement on pedestal and cuvette, supports analysis wavelength and quantification step. Export data in multiple file formats (.tsv and .ned). Support to import .ned/.sql file and NanoDrop One PC viewer database file in History.
- UV-Vis: The UV-Vis application allows the NanoDrop One/NanoDrop One PC to function as a conventional spectrophotometer. Wavelengths can be entered for absorbance monitoring and inclusion in the results. Sample absorbance is displayed on the screen from 190nm to 840nm.
- Diagnostics
- Performance Verification: Users enter the target absorbance value on the PV-1 ampoule in the Performance Verification setup page, then blank and measure aliquots of the standard. Pass or fail instructions show at the top of the screen. Experiment data can be viewed in the history detail page. Export data in multiple file formats (. tsv and. ned). Support to import .ned/ .sql file and PC viewer database files in History.
- Intensity Check: Run an Intensity Check through the pedestal or cuvette light paths. Pass or fail instructions show at the top. Experiment data can be viewed in the History detail page. Export data in multiple file formats (. tsv and. ned). Support to import . ned/ sql file and PC viewer database files in History.
- Pedestal Image Check: Run a Pedestal Image Check. Supports Image optimization. Pass or fail instructions show at the top. Experiment data can be viewed in the History detail page. Export data in multiple file formats (. tsv and. ned). Support to import .ned/ .sql file and PC viewer database files in History.
- IQ/OQ: Qualification procedures are now available for the NanoDrop One PC Control software.
- Security with 21CFR part 11 compliance Support: NanoDrop One Security software, together with Thermo Security Administration software, lets the system administrator set system policies and control user access to NanoDrop One software feature. Supports access control, system policies, and signature meanings.
NanoDrop One Local Control Software v2.0.0

- NanoDrop One instrument directly connects to the NanoDrop One PC Control software with an Ethernet cable. Instrument can be controlled from the PC and all data are stored on the computer.

- Blue Screen Lockup: Some NanoDrop One/NanoDrop One instruments experienced a lockup where the instrument software did not get past the blue droplet screen. This version fixes this issue. It is recommended that all users upgrade to this version of the local control software.
NanoDrop One Local Control Software v1.4
Release Date: May 2017
New Features
- Wi-Fi and Ethernet Networking and Export: Users can connect the NanoDrop One/NanoDrop OneC to a Wi-Fi network by selecting System →Networking→Wi-Fi. Users can select System→Networking→Ethernet to connect to a wired network or directly to a PC. A list of network locations can be pre-defined under the System→Export tab. This list is presented when the user selects Export in the End Experiment dialog or in the Data Viewer.
- Cloud Connect: The NanoDrop One/NanoDrop OneC can now connect to the Thermo Fisher Cloud and export data to the user's cloud account. The exported data may be viewed or manipulated using the NanoDrop Cloud application. Users can setup their account details on the Settings → Network tab. Once an account is setup, a new option "Thermo Fisher Cloud” is added to the Export dropdown. When “Thermo Fisher Cloud” is selected as the export location, a user account list is presented. Data can be exported by selecting the appropriate user account name.
- Wi-Fi/USB Printing: All NanoDrop One/NanoDrop OneC instruments with v1.4 of Local Control Software can print reports to a standard USB or Wi-Fi connected printer. To configure a printer for the first time, select the Print option from the main menu when in an experiment and follow the instructions. If you have upgraded the NanoDrop One/NanoDrop OneC Local Control Software from an earlier version to v1.4, your NanoDrop One/NanoDrop OneC instrument will need to be connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Once connected, select the Print option from the main menu of an experiment and follow the instructions. When a Dymo printer is connected, the instrument will honor the Dymo printer exclusively. In order to use regular printer, the Dymo printer needs to be disconnected.
- Note: A variety of printer manufacturers and models are supported. Many printers from the same printer manufacturer behave the same way. If your printer model is not found in the list, try selecting the closest printer model and test it.
- 16GB Data Storage: Data storage limit on the NanoDrop One/NanoDrop OneC is extended to 16GB. This extended memory will also be available to NanoDrop One/NanoDrop OneC instruments upgrading to v1.4.
- Export Logs: Users can export logs to an USB flash drive by selecting Diagnostics → Export Logs option. Logs can only be exported to a connected USB flash drive.
- "All" Option in Search Time Range: It is now possible to search all the experiments by selecting the “All” option in the Search Dialog's time range dropdown.
- Edit Experiment Name: In Experiment Details dialog the experiment name field is editable and the experiment name can be changed and saved.
- Export .sql files for individual experiments: Users can now export .sql files for individual experiments, rather than a single .sql file for all experiments.
Resolved Issues
- Custom Method Issues: This version resolves an issue where the entered wavelength was not used during analysis.
- Protein Bradford: When saving standards under the Protein Bradford method, all numbers after the decimal are now included.

Resolved Issues
- Printing Intensity Check: An issue where the Xe monitored peaks were printed incorrectly when printing an Intensity Check experiment is now resolved.
- Exporting to .tsv Format: Fixed an issue where an incorrect delimiter was used when exporting in .TSV format has now been resolved.

Resolved Issues
- Blank PC Name: PC Name in PC Viewer cannot be blank to connect to Wi-Fi, if it is blank the instrument will recognize that it is connected to a PC via Wi-Fi but it will not be available in the drop down menu.
- Kinetics Interval Error Message: A dialog was displayed in error indicating that the kinetics interval was less than two seconds when the interval was acceptable.
- GuSCN or GUHCI contamination: When a sample is contaminated with GuSCN or GUHCl the Acclaro results displayed the incorrect result under the contaminate row-A260 column. This issue has been fixed.
- Execution of Custom Methods: Custom methods failed to run correctly, this issue has been fixed.

Resolved Issues
- Display Issues: When Overlay mode has been turned off, there were some issues with selection of sample. These issues have been fixed.
- Y-axis Label for Blank: The Y-axis label for blank measurements in the PC Data Viewer software was displaying 10mm Absorbance. This is incorrect and has been fixed.

NanoDrop One Local Control Software v1.2

New Features
- UV-Vis Application: The UV-Vis application allows the NanoDrop One/NanoDrop OneC to function as a conventional spectrophotometer. Up to 40 wavelengths can be selected for absorbance monitoring and inclusion in the final results. Sample absorbance is displayed on the screen from 190nm to 840nm. UV-Vis experiment data can be viewed in the PC Viewer software.
- Kinetics Application: The NanoDrop OneC can be used to make time-based kinetic measurements. Setting up kinetics experiments is easy to do and a visual display shows the stage information such as delay, measurement intervals and stage duration. Up to 5 stages can be created and up to 3 wavelengths can be monitored during the experiment. The user also has the option to Pause or Stop the kinetics experiment. Kinetics data can be displayed as Time vs ABS or Time vs Delta ABS. Kinetics data can also be viewed in the NanoDrop One PC Viewer software.
- Help System Translation: Translation for the help system and Acclaro is now included in the following languages; Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish and Spanish.
- IQ/OQ: Qualification procedures are now available for the NanoDrop One and NanoDrop OneC. New part numbers have been released for full qualification kits in both US binder size and A4 binder size.
- Additional Custom Methods: New custom method options are now available in the NanoDrop One PC Viewer software. These methods are easily created on the PC and executed on the NanoDrop One system. Standard curve custom method options are now available along with the formula and equation types that were available in an earlier version.
NanoDrop One PC Viewer Software v1.2

New Features
- Wi-Fi Data Transfer: WiFi is now possible using version 1.2 NanoDrop One PC Viewer software. Data can be seamlessly transferred from the NanoDrop One instrument to any WiFi connected PC. All data will be saved on the attached PC rather than on the local control instrument. Data can then be easily viewed using this software during the acquisition and after the experiment has completed.
- Additional Custom Method: New custom method options are now available in the NanoDrop One PC Viewer software. These methods are easily created on the PC and executed on the NanoDrop One system. Standard curve custom method options are now available along with the formula and equation types that were available in an earlier version.
- Export .sql File Format: The database can now be exported from the NanoDrop One PC Viewer software. This was previously only an option from the local control but now it is available from the PC software as well.

- Pedestal Image Check: Enhancements have been completed for the Pedestal Image Check diagnostic. Additional pass/fail information is now displayed along with more detailed information about any issues that may be encountered.
- Software Translation: Translation for the local control software is now included in the following languages; Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish and Spanish.
