This document provides installation and user guidance for the Connects2 CTUPO02 Infodapter Interface, designed for Porsche vehicles with MOST 25 systems and quadlock connectors.
Product Overview
The CTUPO02 Infodapter Interface allows for the integration of an aftermarket stereo system into compatible Porsche vehicles, retaining essential factory functions.

Prior to Installation
Technical knowledge is required for installation. Ensure the installation location is free of moisture and heat. Use correct tools to avoid damage. The aftermarket stereo must have female RCA connectors for this product to function correctly.

Interface Connections
The interface features several connection points:
- Reverse Camera Extension Harness Input
- Power Harness Input
- Head Unit Connection (Patch) Lead Input
- DIP Switch:
- Switch 1: For Pioneer ('ON') or other head units ('OFF').
- Switch 2: For PAL reversing camera ('ON') or NTSC ('OFF'). Default is 'OFF'/NTSC.
- Switch 3: Change from 'OFF' to 'ON' and back to reset screen settings to factory defaults. The screen will turn red during this process.
- Switch 4: Not Used.

Installation Guide
Before installation, remove and disconnect the factory stereo. Consult the vehicle owner's manual or a professional. A stereo connection (patch) lead is also required.
- Connect the 12-pin connector from the stereo connection (patch) lead to the interface box.
- Connect the other end of the stereo connection (patch) lead to the steering wheel control input on the aftermarket stereo (may be a 3.5mm jack or wired input). Consult the aftermarket stereo manual for details.
- IMPORTANT: Complete steps 1 & 2 before connecting power to the interface to avoid functionality loss.
- Connect the 14-pin connector from the supplied wiring loom to the interface box.
- Connect the 4-pin camera extension harness to the interface box.
- Connect the amplifier retention interface to the 8-pin connector on the supplied wiring loom.
- Remove the dust cover from the amplifier retention interface and connect the vehicle's fiber amplifier connection.
- Connect the power/speaker ISO connector to the aftermarket stereo's power/speaker ISO connector.
- Connect flying wires from the main wiring harness to the head unit. Ensure Amp Remote and Reverse Gear wires are connected.
- Connect the male red and white RCA connectors (speaker) to the aftermarket stereo's front line outputs to retain amplifier audio.
- Connect the male red and white RCA connectors (AUX) to the aftermarket stereo to retain the OEM AUX input.
- Connect the male yellow RCA from the camera extension harness to the aftermarket head unit's reverse camera input.
- To retain factory camera: connect the female yellow RCA from the camera extension harness to the male yellow RCA from the main wiring harness.
- For aftermarket camera: connect the male yellow RCA from the aftermarket camera to the female yellow RCA from the camera extension harness.
- Connect the USB retention harness to the vehicle and the aftermarket stereo to retain the OEM USB input.
- Connect the quadlock connector on the supplied harness to the vehicle's quadlock connector.
- Test stereo and steering wheel control functionality. If unresponsive, uninstall and reinstall carefully.

Flying Wires:
- Pink: Speed Pulse
- Green: Park Brake
- Purple/White: Reverse Gear
- Blue/White: Amp Remote (Note: Must be connected to radio remote output)

User Guide: Steering Wheel Control Functionality
Individual steering wheel control configurations may vary. The following describes typical functions:
In Normal Mode:
- Button 1: Volume Up (Scroll Up) / Enter Infodapter Menu (Long Press)
- Button 2: Volume Down (Scroll Down) / Programmable Function (Short Press) / Programmable Function (Long Press)
- Button 3: Mute (Short Press) / Pick Up
- Button 4: Instrument Cluster Nav
- Button 5: Instrument Cluster Nav
- Button 6: Hang Up
- Button 7: Source (Short Press) / Voice Assist (Long Press)
In Infodapter Mode:
- Button 1: Menu Up (Scroll Up)
- Button 2: Menu Down (Scroll Down)
- Button 3: Select Menu Item (Short Press)
- Button 4: Exit Infodapter Menu (Long Press)
- Buttons 5-7: Function as described in Normal Mode.
In Parking Mode (when camera is active):
- Button 1: Camera/Parking Graphics Toggle (Long Press)
Programmable Button
The diamond button on the steering wheel can be programmed for specific radio functions within the Infodapter menus (e.g., Source, Track +, DSC +). Assign functions via the 'Preferences' sub-menu in the Infodapter menu.
Note: Ensure the diamond button is set to a radio function in the vehicle's OEM instrument cluster menu. If not used, set both short and long press options to 'None' in the Infodapter Preferences.
Infodapter Menu
Press and hold Button 1 to access the Infodapter menu. Navigate through options like Screen Size/Position, Picture Settings, Preferences, Language, and Version.
Preferences
Configure various settings:
- Camera Connected: Choose between None, Generic, or OEM camera.
- Camera Active: Set camera image to display automatically or only when reverse gear is active.
- RVC Grid Lines: Enable or disable rear view camera guidelines.
- Reverse Priority: Choose between Park Assist graphics or reversing camera image. This can also be switched via steering wheel controls.
- Camera Delay: Adjust delay (0-20) to prevent screen rolling effects.
- Diamond Short Press: Select function for the diamond button (e.g., SRC, TRK+, DSK+).
- Diamond Long Press: Select function for the diamond button (e.g., SRC, TRK+, DSK+).
- Park Brake Source: Set Park Brake output activation (Brake, Speed, 'Park' mode, or Always On).
- Restore Factory Settings: Reset all Infodapter settings to defaults.
Version: View software version (MCU: Porsche Infodapter V1.06, Filesys: INF034 Connects2).
Language: Select preferred language (English/French/German/etc.).
OEM Parking Sensor Graphics
The Infodapter interface replicates OEM front/rear parking sensor graphics based on vehicle data, designed to match Porsche's original system.
Switching Between Camera and Graphic Display Modes
To toggle between reversing camera and parking graphics, hold Button 1 while either is active. This can also be adjusted via the 'Reverse Priority' setting.
