Menu List, Validity, and Function Groups

This menu function is used with system software type AKM. It is divided into function groups displayed on the PC screen, allowing users to view measured values or settings. Reference is made to the AKM Manual for AKM usage.

This menu operation (from January 2016) applies to controller type AK-CH 650, code number/080Z0132 with program version 2.0x.

The operation is divided into several function groups. Selecting a group and pressing "[OK]" allows navigation to the next display. For example, "Suction capacity control" can be selected.

Measured values are displayed on the "measure" line and are constantly updated. In the "settings" list, set values are visible. To change a setting, select the parameter and press "[OK]".

Measurements

Measurements can be read directly. A graphic display of up to eight measurements can be shown by selecting them and pressing "[Trend]".

Settings

Settings can only be made for daily operation. Configuration settings are not visible, changeable, or writable via this interface; they require the Service Tool program.

There are four types of settings: ON/OFF settings, variable value settings, time settings, and "reset alarms".

To set a required value, press "[OK]". To enter a new value or adjust a sliding scale, use the controls. The new value applies when "[OK]" is pressed.

Documentation

Go through individual functions to make required settings. Once settings are made for one controller, they can be copied to other controllers of the same type and software version using the AKM program's "copy settings" function, with subsequent adjustments for deviations.

A printout of individual settings can be made using a function within the AKM program. Refer to the "Documentation" section for more details.

Documentation of individual controller settings can be generated via the AKM program's print function. Select the controller and then the "Print Settings" function (refer to the AKM Manual).

AKM Menu Example:

The AKM menu includes options such as Plant overview, History, Configuration, AKC, AKA, AKSC, Access, and Help. Sub-menu items include Controllers, Copy Settings, Print Settings, Programming, and Reset Alarms.

Functions

Function groups with corresponding measurements and settings are shown. A printout of the given settings can be made using the AKM function "Print Settings".

Note: Selections are made among many measurements and settings from the controller. The AKM program operation cannot display all of them. For access to all measurements and settings, use Service Tool type AK-ST 500.

Configuration lockLock of configuration. To select quick setup or refrigerant type, the configuration lock must be "open". Note: "Main switch" must be OFF to set configuration lock to "open".
