Improper installation may create a risk of injury or damage to your device. Follow all mounting instructions and mount only on stable surfaces. Watch for Small Parts: The device and accessories may present a choking hazard to small children. Keep them out of reach of small children.

Your device is water-resistant and suitable for outdoor use, but not intended for underwater use. To protect against electric shock, do not submerge or immerse your device or adapter in water or expose them to other liquids. Avoid spilling food or beverages on your device or adapter. Do not attempt to clean or polish with oil, lotion, or abrasive substances. Do not expose to salt water or other conductive liquids. Avoid exposure to pressurized water, high velocity water, or extremely humid conditions (e.g., steam rooms). If your device or adapter gets wet, unplug all cables carefully without getting your hands wet and wait for it to dry completely before plugging it in again. Do not use external heat sources like microwaves or hair dryers to dry it. During a lightning storm, do not touch the device, adapter, or connected wires while plugged in to avoid electric shock. Discontinue use immediately if your device or adapter appears damaged. Protect your device from direct sunlight.

Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Third-party accessories may cause damage to your device or the accessory and may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.

Handle your device and its accessories with care. They may have pointed edges that can cause scratches, cuts, or other physical injury.

Your device does not have an on/off button. To stop power flow, unplug the power adapter and/or remove the battery pack. Use only the specified power adapter. Do not plug multiple electric devices into the same wall socket, as overloading can cause overheating and fire. Do not plug the power adapter into an outdoor socket not designed for permanent power with appropriate weather resistance.

Battery Safety

HANDLE WITH CARE. Your device uses a rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery. Use only approved Li-ion batteries designed for your Ring device. Do not disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, or shred the device or battery. Do not modify or remanufacture the battery, insert foreign objects, or immerse or expose it to water, other liquids, fire, explosion, or other hazards. Use the battery only for its specified system. Unqualified batteries or chargers may pose a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, or other hazards. Do not short-circuit a battery or allow conductive objects to contact battery terminals. Avoid dropping the device or battery. If dropped, do not attempt repair; contact Ring Customer Service for assistance. Keep the battery and its power adapter in a well-ventilated area, away from heat sources, especially during charging. The battery uses the provided USB cable and a USB charger or port compliant with safety standards (e.g., IEC 62368-1). Do not charge the battery near water or in extremely humid conditions.

Information Regarding Exposure to Radio Frequency Energy

The output power of the radio technology used in the Products is below the radio frequency exposure limits set by the FCC. It is advised to use this product in a manner that minimizes potential human contact during normal operation. This device should be installed and operated with at least 20 cm (approx. 8 inches) between the radiator and your body.

For Australian Consumers

Ring products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure, provided repair facilities and parts are available.

Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, you may need to bear the expense of claiming under this limited warranty, including the cost of returning the Device.

For New Zealand Consumers

Ring products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if the goods are not of acceptable quality, not fit for a particular purpose made known by you or represented by Ring, or do not correspond with Ring's advertising. Ring does not guarantee that repair facilities and parts will be available for its goods. You may reject goods and receive a refund or replacement if the failure to comply with guarantees cannot be remedied or is substantial. You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. These terms do not apply to goods purchased for commercial use.

One-Year Limited Warranty for Ring Devices

If you purchased your Ring devices and accessories (the "Device") from Ring, Amazon, or authorized resellers, the warranty is provided by Ring LLC, 12515 Cerise Avenue, Hawthorne, CA 90250, United States ("Ring").

When you purchase a new or Certified Refurbished Device, Ring warrants the Device against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for one year from the original retail purchase date. If a defect arises, and you follow return instructions, Ring will, at its option, to the extent permitted by law:

• (i) repair the Device using new or refurbished parts,
• (ii) replace the Device with a new or refurbished equivalent, or
• (iii) refund all or part of the purchase price.

This limited warranty applies to any repair, replacement part, or replacement device for the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety days, whichever is longer. Replaced parts and Devices for which a refund is given become Ring's property. This warranty applies only to hardware components not subject to accident, misuse, neglect, fire, external causes, alteration, or repair.

Generally, you will need to deliver your Device in its original or equally protective packaging to the address provided by Customer Service. Before sending for service, remove any removable storage media and back up data, software, or other materials. Ring is not responsible for damage or loss to such items during service.

Limitations

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES. Ring specifically disclaims all statutory or implied warranties, including warranties of MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. If Ring cannot lawfully disclaim implied warranties, then, to the extent permitted by law, all such warranties are limited to the duration of this express limited warranty and to repair or replacement service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long a statutory or implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Ring is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or under any other legal theory. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of direct, incidental, or consequential damages, so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.
