Total Encasement Mattress Cover Instructions

Fully read through instructions before you start: Remove all bedding from your bed. Pull the bed away from the wall, if necessary, to access the hose(s) at the head of the mattress.

1. Remove the Total Encasement Mattress Cover from the packaging and unzip fully. Position the cover at the foot of the bed. Identify the bottom as the side with the hose covering(s) (as shown in Figure A).
2. Lifting the mattress slightly, slide the bottom of the Total Encasement Mattress Cover slowly under the mattress. It is recommended to have two people for this step. Avoid pulling unnecessarily on seams (as shown in Figure B).
3. Slide the Total Encasement Mattress Cover all the way to the head of the mattress. Position the bottom of the Total Encasement Cover in place under the mattress, so that hose coverings are at the head of the bed (as shown in Figure C).
4. Unzip the bed Pillowtop completely (as shown in Figure D). Fold back the Pillowtop and Foam Comfort Pad halfway.
5. Remove the Foam Border Wall at the head of the bed (as shown in Figure E).
6. This action will provide access to the hose(s) connected to the inner chambers (as shown in Figure F). Unplug the hose(s) and pull them out from the bed cover.
7. Pass the hose(s) through the Total Encasement Mattress Cover hose coverings from the outside (as shown in Figure G).
8. Reconnect the hose(s) to the air chambers. Ensure you hear a click to confirm they are properly connected; otherwise, they are not connected correctly (as shown in Figure H).
9. Replace the foam and zip the bed closed. Then, zip the Total Encasement Mattress Cover closed. Secure the hose covering(s) by pulling on the Velcro strap until the hose is squeezed tight. Hold in place and wrap the strap around to close the fastener. This step is important to ensure complete anti-allergen protection (as shown in Figure I).
