Chapter 1: Before You Begin
- Save and close all open files and exit all open applications.
- Shut down your computer: Click Start > Power > Shut down.
NOTE: If using a Linux operating system, consult your OS documentation for shut-down instructions.
- Disconnect your computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
- Disconnect all attached network devices and peripherals, such as keyboard, mouse, and monitor from your computer.
CAUTION: To disconnect a network cable, first unplug the cable from your computer and then unplug it from the network device.
- If the computer or adapter is being installed on the monitor:
- Disconnect the power and all display cables from the monitor.
- Remove the monitor stand and place the monitor on a clean, soft surface.
Chapter 2: OptiPlex Micro Vertical Stand
Installation Steps
- Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin".
- Align the slot on the computer chassis with the tab on the vertical stand and place the computer on the vertical stand. This ensures the computer is securely seated and prevents it from sliding out.
- Route the power cable through the designated hook on the vertical stand. This helps manage the cable and prevents accidental disconnection.
Chapter 3: OptiPlex Micro Wall Mount
Installation Steps
- Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin".
- Place the VESA mount on the wall.
- Secure the VESA mount to the wall using four self-tapping screws (M4x13). The mount should be firmly attached to the wall surface.
- Attach the AC adapter sleeve to the VESA mount using two screws (M3x6). This positions the sleeve for the AC adapter.
- Install four step screws (M4x4) into the designated holes on the computer chassis. These screws will interface with the mount.
- Align the installed step screws on the chassis with the corresponding notches on the wall mount. Then, slide the computer into place to secure it to the mount.
- Place the AC adapter into the AC adapter sleeve.
- Wrap the AC adapter sleeve around the AC adapter. Insert the retaining tabs on the sleeve into the appropriate holes to secure the adapter within the sleeve.
Chapter 4: OptiPlex Micro Desk Mount
Installation Steps
- Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin".
- Place the VESA mount under the desk.
- Secure the VESA mount under the desk using four self-tapping screws (M4x13). Ensure the mount is firmly attached to the underside of the desk.
- Install four step screws (M4x4) into the designated holes on the computer chassis.
- Align the step screws on the chassis with the notches on the desk mount. Slide the computer into place to secure it to the mount.
- Attach the AC adapter sleeve under the desk using two screws (M3x6).
- Place the AC adapter into the AC adapter sleeve.
- Wrap the AC adapter sleeve around the AC adapter. Insert the retaining tabs on the sleeve into the appropriate holes to secure the adapter within the sleeve.
Chapter 5: OptiPlex Micro Pro-2 E Series Monitor Mount
Installation Steps
- Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin".
- Place the monitor on a soft cloth or cushion.
- Secure the extender to the monitor stand using four screws (M2.5x7).
- Attach the AC adapter sleeve (optional accessory) to the all-in-one stand using two screws (M3x6).
NOTE: The AC adapter sleeve is an optional component that needs to be purchased separately.
- Remove the monitor back cover.
- Secure the VESA mount to the back of the monitor using four screws (M4x10).
- Install four step screws (M4x4) into the designated holes on the computer chassis.
- Align the step screws on the chassis with the notches on the VESA mount. Mount the computer onto the VESA mount.
- Place the AC adapter into the AC adapter sleeve.
- Wrap the AC adapter sleeve around the AC adapter. Insert the retaining tabs on the sleeve into the appropriate holes to secure the adapter within the sleeve.
- Position the AC adapter sleeve behind the desk for cable management.
Chapter 6: OptiPlex Micro Dual Vesa Mount
Installation Steps
- Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin".
- Place the monitor on a soft cloth or cushion.
- Remove the monitor back cover.
- Secure the VESA mount to the monitor using four screws (M4x10).
- Slide the computer into the VESA mount.
- Tighten the thumbscrew to secure the computer to the VESA mount.
- Align the screws on the power adapter enclosure with the screw holes on the VESA mount. Slide the power adapter enclosure into place to lock it.

- Lift the monitor and engage the slots on the VESA mount with the hooks on the monitor arm until it clicks securely.
- Tighten the screw (M4x12) on the monitor arm to finalize the monitor's attachment.
Chapter 7: OptiPlex Micro All-in-One Stand - MFS22
Installation Steps
- Attach the AC adapter sleeve (optional accessory) to the all-in-one stand using two screws (M3x6).
NOTE: The AC adapter sleeve is an optional component that needs to be purchased separately.
- Install four step screws (M4x4) into the designated holes on the computer chassis.
- Align the step screws on the chassis with the notches on the all-in-one stand. Mount the computer onto the all-in-one stand.
- Align the tabs on the cable cover with the slots on the computer. Slide the cable cover into place to lock it.
- Place the AC adapter into the AC adapter sleeve.
- Wrap the AC adapter sleeve around the AC adapter. Insert the retaining tabs on the sleeve into the appropriate holes to secure the adapter within the sleeve.
- Position the AC adapter sleeve behind the desk for cable management.
