Description

SPARKULAR® is an original innovation product introduced by SHOWVEN®. It is the first spark fountain machine in the special effects industry. SPARKULAR® is designed for the highly demanding professional market, with adjustable sparks height from 1.5 to 5 meters.

Structure of SPARKULAR®

The SPARKULAR® unit consists of the following parts:

The bottom panel features mounting points and connections. Dimensions are provided: 218mm width, 202.2mm length, with specific points marked at 49mm, 120mm, and 101.1mm from edges.

Operation Panel

The operation panel includes:

  1. LED display area:
    • READY: Flashing indicates the machine is preparing; LED solid indicates ready to work.
    • DMX: Flashing indicates DMX signal is connected; LED OFF indicates no DMX signal.
    • FAULT: LED ON indicates an error has occurred.
    • HEAT: LED ON indicates the system is heating up.
  2. Control button area:
    • MENU: Press to switch through menus; press and hold for 3 seconds to enter the advanced menu.
    • DOWN: Decreases parameter value.
    • UP: Increases parameter value.
    • ENTER: Confirms and saves parameters.
  3. Interface and Plugging Area:
    • POWER IN: Power input (20A socket).
    • POWER OUT: Power output (20A socket).
    • DMX IN: DMX Signal Input.
    • DMX OUT: DMX Signal Output.
  4. RFID area:

    RFID cards are used with consumable HC8200 bags to identify parameters and types of granules. Each RFID card is disposable and can only be used once.

Error Code Explanation
E0 System IC Systematic error
E1 Motor Protect Motor over current protection
E2 Temp. Sensor Temperature sensor is not connected or damaged
E3 P Temp. Over Machine shutdown due to chassis over temperature
E4 Time Remain Firing time is insufficient; please swipe RFID card
E5 K Temp. Over Machine shutdown due to heating chamber over temperature
E6 Heat Fail Heating failure, problem on heating PCB or mainboard
E7 Tip Over Tilt sensor activated when the machine is slanted over 45 degrees

3. Menu

Use the "MENU" switch to navigate the setup menu:

Set DMX Address 1-512 1 Set DMX Address
Fountain Height 1-10 5 10 gears of fountain height; manually adjust firing height.
Manual Heat ON/OFF OFF Auto preheat function switch after turning on the machine. ON: machine heats up automatically after power on. OFF: machine will not heat up after power on.
Manual Fountain ON/OFF OFF Manual firing, for test only.
Auto Clear Delay 0.1-0.9s 0.4s Automatic clear material time setting.

Density@ Height 1 50-90 80 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 1*.
Density@ Height 2 50-90 80 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 2*.
Density@ Height 3 50-90 80 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 3*.
Density@ Height 4 50-100 80 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 4*.
Density@ Height 5 50-100 80 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 5*.
Density@ Height 6 50-100 80 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 6*.
Density@ Height 7 50-100 80 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 7*.
Density@ Height 8 50-100 90 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 8*.
Density@ Height 9 50-100 100 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 9*.
Density@ Height 10 50-100 100 Adjusts the sparks density of Height gear 10*.
Mode Selection Factory Mode / User Mode User Mode Factory mode is for engineers only. When in Factory mode, the machine cannot be controlled by DMX console/host controller.
Motor Protect ON/OFF OFF Motor protect function; default setting is OFF.
Power Selection 220/110Vac - -
DMX Channel Mode 2 DMX Channel / 4 DMX Channel / 2+3 DMX Channel 2 DMX Channel Do not change. 4 DMX Channel and 2+3 DMX Channel are for special use.
Tip Over Error ON/OFF ON Tilt function switch.
Standby Switch ON/OFF OFF When ON, the machine can fire only when heating up is finished.

*For better performance of SPARKULAR®, please do not change the default value without permission from SHOWVEN®.

SPARKULAR® occupies 2 DMX channels.

Operation Guide

1. Install SPARKULAR®

Maintenance

Warranty Instructions

Thank you for choosing our products. You will receive quality service from us. The product warranty period is one year. If there are any quality problems within 7 days after shipping out from our factory, we will exchange a brand new same model machine for you. We offer free-of-charge maintenance service for machines with hardware malfunctions (except for instrument damage caused by human factors) within the warranty period. Please do not repair the machine without factory permission.

Situations NOT included in warranty service:

For product damage not covered by the warranty, we can provide paid service. An invoice is necessary when applying for maintenance service from SHOWVEN®.
