Operating Instructions
Quick Release Plate (See Figure 2)
To remove the quick release plate, squeeze and pull the plate locking lever. The Quick Release Plate will disengage, allowing it to be removed.
Vertical Panning, Horizontal Rotation, and 90-Degree Shots (See Figure 3)
- Panning: Rotate the panning adjustment knob (a) as shown to loosen for smooth, consistent panning. Rotate oppositely to tighten.
- Tilting: Rotate the tilt adjustment knob (b) as shown to loosen for smooth, consistent tilting. Rotate oppositely to tighten.
- 90-Degree Shot: Rotate the rolling lock knob (c) as shown to adjust the angle of the loading plate. Flip up to 90 degrees. Rotate oppositely to tighten.
Center Column Adjustment (See Figure 4)
To raise or lower the center column, turn the center locking knob counter-clockwise and set the column to the desired position. While holding the column in position, turn the column locking knob clockwise to secure the column in place. Do not overtighten the center column lock, as this could damage the threads.
Extending and Folding the Legs (See Figures 5 & 6)
Each leg section can be adjusted to the desired length by opening the flip lock lever, which allows the leg to slide in or out. Once the desired length is achieved, snap the flip lock lever closed to securely lock the leg section. Repeat this step for each leg and each section until the tripod is set to the desired height.
Weight Hook (See Figure 7)
When additional weight is necessary to stabilize the tripod in windy conditions, the retractable weight hook can be used to hold a sandbag, camera bag, or any similar item. Take care not to overload the tripod with weight, as this could have a reverse effect on increasing the tripod's stability.
