Getting Started: Device Controls

The Seek FirePRO 300 is designed for intuitive operation. Familiarize yourself with the primary controls:

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the device on. A quick press and release will return the device to the default TI Basic mode. To power off, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
• Image and Video Capture: Press and release the capture button to take a still image. Press and hold the capture button for 2 seconds to begin video recording, and press and release again to stop recording.
• Temperature Unit (°F/°C): Press and release the dedicated button to toggle between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) temperature readings.
• Mode and Flashlight Control: Press and hold the mode button for 3 seconds to cycle through available imaging modes: TI Basic, TI Basic+, and Survey mode. Press and release this button to turn the integrated flashlight on or off.

Device Features and Visuals

The FirePRO 300 features a high-resolution thermal sensor and a bright LED flashlight. Key external features include:

• Lanyard Attach Loop: A secure point for attaching a lanyard for portability and safety.

• On-Screen Device Icons:
  • 1. Mode Indicator: Shows the current imaging mode (e.g., TI Basic+, Survey).
  • 2. Overtemp Indicator: Alerts the user to temperatures exceeding a set threshold.
  • 3. Spot Temperature Reticle: A crosshair indicating the point where temperature is being measured (active in TI Basic+ and Survey modes).
  • 4. Battery Charge Status: Visual representation of the remaining battery life.
  • 5. Spot Temperature Reading: Displays the measured temperature at the reticle's location (active in TI Basic+ and Survey modes).
  • 6. Temperature Color Bar: A legend correlating colors in the thermal image to specific temperature ranges.
• Battery Status Indicators:
  • Green: Over 75% charge remaining.
  • Yellow: Over 55% charge remaining.
  • Orange: Over 25% charge remaining.
  • Red: Less than 25% charge remaining (may flash if less than 5 minutes of operation remain).

• Cleaning Instructions: Clean the device's lenses and display using a lint-free cloth and a commercial lens cleaning solution. For the camera housing, use mild soap and warm water.
