We recommend installation to be performed by a trained and/ or qualified technician. I 2. Remove OE exhaust system: rear muffler and midpipe N 3. Install REMARK exhaust components using the original rubber hangers unless otherwise noted S 4. You can install this system as an assembled unit or section by section. If installing section by section, T we recommend starting from the front and working rearwards A 5. Install all gaskets and hardware. Leave the hardware hand tight. L For the midpipe to intermediate pipe connection: L A. if using OEM intermediate pipe, A retain OEM gasket and re-use OEM hardware. T Torque to OEM spec. I O N B. if using an aftermarket intermediate pipe with a flat 2-bolt flange, use gasket provided with the intermediate pipe 6. Align flanges, gasket, and snug all hardware so that sections cannot move. 7. Check positioning of the exhaust piping, and tips(s). Reposition if needed by loosening hardware, adjust position and retighten hardware. NOTE: When installing on a 2013-2021 model, the fitment of tips to bumper openings is quite tight. Make sure to position correctly before starting the car. See images at the bottoms of this guide. 8. When placement is confirmed, tighten all hardware to recommended torque spec. 9. Gently shake/ move the exhaust system to ensure there is proper clearance around the entire system, especially the tip to bumper. 10. Throughly wipe down the exhaust system from any grease, dirt, handprints, fingerprints, etc... as these may cause a permanent stain once the exhaust reaches operating temp. NOTE: If optioned with the Burnt finish tips, make sure to only clean with car wash soap and water. Some cleaners may affect the Burnt finish. 11. Start the engine 12. Check for any leaks, fitment issues, rubbing, etc.. 13. After ~100 miles of driving, re-check for exhaust leaks, fitment issues, and re-torque all hardware. 2022 + 2013 - 2021 1-year limited manufacturer defect warranty from date of purchase W All warranty claims are subject to inspection by REMARK at our facility Limited Warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the product A REMARK is not responsible for fitment issues on non-US spec vehicles as all products are developed on US spec R models R Product finishes are not covered under warranty and considered wear & tear A No warranty whatsoever will be valid if the defect was caused by abuse, negligence and/or mishandling. Y Acidic cleaning products or steel wool are not to be used unless by a trained professional. Some chemical cleaning products may damage the product and/or finishes. P Wear and tear (the damage that happens to our product in ordinary use) is not covered by our limited warranty. O Improper installation or misuse of the product may lead to failure and damage to both product and vehicle. The L I C user assumes all responsibility.
