Cleaning and maintenance * As a general rule, hedges which lose their leaves in the autumn should be trimmed in June and October. * Hedges which do not lose their leaves should be cut in April and August. 7.1 Cleaning · Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible.
