All Pro Shade Concepts DC1600A Awning Remote

Remote Overview

The DC1600A Awning Remote is designed for controlling awning motors. It features several buttons for operation:

The remote is powered by a CR2450 3.0V lithium battery, accessible from the back of the unit.

Pairing a New Remote to Motor (Without Original Remote)

  1. Apply power to the awning unit.
  2. Press the P2 button on the back of the remote twice.
  3. Press and hold the Out Button (▲) for a right-hand motor, or the In Button (▼) for a left-hand motor.
  4. The motor will confirm programming by emitting multiple beeps.
  5. Test the awning movement by extending/retracting it 1-2 feet. If the awning moves in the wrong direction (e.g., retracting when it should be extending), repeat steps 1-3, pressing the opposite arrow button during the initial programming.

Pairing Additional Remotes (With Original Remote)

  1. Remove the back cover of the original and any additional remotes.
  2. On the original remote, press the P2 button twice.
  3. On the new remote, press the P2 button once.
  4. Test the function and repeat as needed for any further additional remotes.

Motor Programming Note

Timing is crucial when programming Dooya motors. If programming multiple motors, ensure only one motor is powered and programmed at a time. Each button press should occur within one-second intervals. Pressing buttons too quickly or too slowly may void the programming process.
