Congratulations on buying the world's most advanced Collision Avoidance System for two-wheeled vehicles. We built this system specifically for riders like you, who are dedicated to staying safe while enjoying every ride. We hope you enjoy this lifechanging and fun product, and we encourage you to write to us at support@ride.vision with any questions, feedback, suggestions, or comments you may have. We strongly encourage you to have the Ride Vision 1 (RV1) system installed on your vehicle by a certified installer. Certified installers near you can be found at www.ride.vision/installers Once the system is installed, simply open the Ride Vision mobile app to finish the setup process. The Ride Vision app is available for iOS and Android devices, more information on the app and its functions can be found at www.ride.vision/app

Warning: RV1 is a rider aid and should be used for informational purposes only. This product does not replace a safe and conscientious rider or override any rider inputs. RV1 cannot compensate for a rider who, without limitation, is distracted, tired or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It is the rider's responsibility to use safe driving judgment, to take measures to avoid an accident and to comply at all times with all laws and regulations.
Warnings: The ability for RV1 to detect a threat and issue a warning may be limited in some circumstances, such as, without limitation, bad weather, low visibility or certain road conditions (e.g., limited view, road obstacles) or if you do not comply with the maintenance steps described in this manual.

While RV1 represents a state-of-the-art innovation in machine vision software and other technologies, Ride Vision cannot and does not guarantee 100% accuracy in the detection of vehicles or driving lanes, and therefore does not guarantee the provision of any related audio or visual warnings. In addition, road, weather and other conditions can adversely affect RV1 systems' recognition and response capabilities.
Limited Warranty: Ride Vision warrants that the product when used in accordance with its specifications and instructions will be free from material defects under normal use for such period as prescribed in the user warranty received with the purchase of the RV1. Warranty period as well as other applicable warranty conditions shall be as prescribed in the warranty card received from your local retailer. In the event of non-conformity during the warranty period, please contact your nearest certified retailer.

Maintenance and daily use
To ensure optimal operation of the system please follow the scheduled tasks below: · Once a week: Clean both camera lenses with a dry cloth · Every 3 months: Replace the camera lens glass cover. · Once a month: Clean the Main Unit (ECU) by gently washing with water to remove dirt and debris. · If a camera position is changed, recalibrate it using the Ride Vision mobile app and the supplied calibration ruler. · On every ride, make sure the initial launch sequence is initiated: Both Alert Indicators' orange LEDs light up 3 times simultaneously after slow speed is reached. · In the case of unit malfunction or load failure, all LED lights will dim 5 times. · Avoid direct washing of the units. · Make sure to synchronize the unit with the mobile app at least once every 2 weeks to ensure unit stays activated (security measure). · If the vehicle battery is replaced or drained out, sync the unit with the mobile app. · Only touch the ECU when the vehicle is off, and cold. · If the vehicle has fallen over or suffered a direct hit to cameras, camera recalibration is required immediately. · Make sure camera lenses are clean before each ride. · Auto video recording can be enabled from the mobile app. · Only use V30 Micro SD cards or higher.
RV1 is an assistive technology, it does not control or take over your vehicle in any way when installed.

Installation
Replacement parts can be purchased from your local retailer. Installation and instructions: Only install with a certified installer. Visit www.ride.vision/installers to find a certified installer near you. Make sure to secure both cameras and the main unit with the provided screws. Do not connect more than 1 extension cable. Once installed, do not change the camera positions. If a camera position is changed, recalibrate it using the Ride Vision mobile app and the supplied calibration ruler. Product Safety Alert: Only touch the ECU when the vehicle is off, and cold.
