Parts List

(1) Aax1
A five-pointed star base assembly, with each point designed to accept a caster wheel.
(2) Abx5
This diagram appears to be a duplicate of the base assembly (Aax1).
(3) Acx1

Installation Steps

  1. Step 1: Attach components labeled 'Aa' and 'Ab' to 'Ac' (the base assembly). Tighten screws using the provided tool (indicated by inset diagram 'I').
  2. Step 2: Insert the gas lift cylinder 'B' into the central opening of the base assembly 'Ac'. Place the base assembly with the gas lift upright. Insert five caster wheels 'J' (labeled 'X5 J') into the ends of the base legs.
  3. Step 3: Attach the chair mechanism 'E' to the underside of the seat cushion 'C' using nine screws 'I'. Attach the backrest 'D' to the chair mechanism 'E' using four screws 'H'. Inset diagrams show chair height adjustment (a) and tilt/rocking functions (b).
  4. Step 4: Lower the assembled seat, backrest, and mechanism onto the gas lift cylinder 'B' which is already mounted on the base.
  5. Step 5: The chair is now assembled. A downward arrow indicates final positioning or adjustment.

Q&A

1. Q: I found that there is a large gap between the chair cushion and backrest after I finished the installation, they are not aligned well, what should I do?
A: You can refer to step 3, loosen the screws first, then adjust the chair until the gap does not exist. Finally, lock the screws between the fixed chair cushion and seat back.
2. Q: How to take off the protective cover on the gas lift?
A: The protective cover is difficult to remove due to transportation squeeze, thus you can try harder to take off it. If it doesn't work, you can use tools to cut it down, but please be careful, prevent hurting yourself and the inner part of the gas lift.
3. Q: What to do if the chair makes a noise?
A: The chair noise is due to the mechanism. When the chair noise occurs, you can first try to pull out the lever under the cushion to unlock the chair; the chair noise will disappear. If the noise is still there, please contact us and we will send you a new replacement part.
4. Q: The chair doesn't stay at the height I want, and sinks when I sit on it. What should I do?
A: This problem can be solved by replacing the gas lift. Please find our uploaded video of the gas lift moving process (named: remove the gas lift). If you can't solve the problem even with the help of the video, please contact us and we will send you a new replacement part.
