Controller Modes
The Flydigi X8 Pro supports multiple connection modes for various devices and experiences:

Note: For mobile games, use Bluetooth mode. For Android mobile games on a computer simulator, use Wireless Android mode. For PC games, use Xinput mode.
Playing Games on Android Cellphones and Tablets (Bluetooth Mode)
- Download Flydigi Gamepad Assistant: Scan the provided [QR code for download] to download and install the application.
- Connect Controller:
- Turn on the controller. Press and hold the Logo button for 5 seconds; the controller enters pairing mode (White Logo light flashing). If the light is not white, press and hold B + Logo buttons for 5 seconds to switch to Bluetooth mode.
- On your cellphone, navigate to Settings > Bluetooth, turn on Bluetooth, and select 'FeizhiX8 / X8 Pro' from the search results to pair. The White Logo light will stay steadily on after successful pairing.
Note: For previously paired controllers, simply press the Logo button to reconnect.
Utool Activation
Follow these steps to activate the controller using the Utool:
- Connect the Utool, data cable, cellphone, charging plug, and socket in sequence as illustrated in the diagram. The red light on the Utool will stay steadily on.
- Allow USB debugging on your cellphone and click [OK].
- After activation is complete, unplug the Flydigi Utool.
Playing Games on Set-Top Box / Smart TV or PC Android Simulator (Wireless Android Mode)
For Set-Top Box/Smart TV (TV Game):
- Search for and install an app market on your TV's browser.
- Download and install games from the app market.
- Plug the receiver into a USB port on the set-top box/smart TV.
- Turn on the controller. Press and hold the A + Logo buttons for 5 seconds to switch to Wireless Android mode (Yellow Logo light stays steadily on). The controller will connect to the receiver.
Note: If the Yellow Logo light keeps flashing slowly and fails to connect after switching modes, the controller needs to be paired to the receiver. Ensure you are in yellow light mode, restart the controller, press and hold the Logo button for 5 seconds (light flashes quickly), and keep the controller within 20cm of the receiver. Successful pairing is indicated by the Yellow Logo light flashing slowly twice, then staying steadily on.
If the controller is not used for a period, it enters standby mode. Press the Logo button again to turn it on.
Air Mouse Function (Only Supports Wireless Android Mode):
The Air Mouse function allows the controller to simulate mouse operations. After the Yellow Logo light stays steadily on, press the Logo button to turn the Air Mouse function on or off. When enabled, the LT button acts as the left mouse button. Use the center point of the controller as the axis and move it up/down and side-to-side to control the Air Mouse pointer movement.
Playing Games on Computer (Xinput Mode)
- Plug the receiver into your computer's USB port.
- Turn on the controller. Press and hold the X + Logo buttons for 5 seconds to switch to Xinput mode (Blue Logo light stays steadily on). The controller will connect to the receiver.
Note: If the Blue Logo light keeps flashing slowly and fails to connect after switching modes, the controller needs to be paired to the receiver. Ensure you are in blue light mode, restart the controller, press and hold the Logo button for 5 seconds (light flashes quickly), and keep the controller within 20cm of the receiver. Successful pairing is indicated by the Blue Logo light flashing slowly twice, then staying steadily on.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Controller Light is Off: First, turn on the power switch and check if the battery is sufficient. If there is power but the Logo light is still off, please contact customer service.
- Problem with Joystick and Button: Controller testing can be performed in the Gamepad Assistant. For joystick calibration, press and hold the Menu and Back buttons simultaneously; the Logo light will flash slowly twice to complete calibration.
- Shooting Center Drifts with Motion Sensing: If the view angle cannot be controlled after pressing and holding the LB button and swinging the controller, leave the controller on a flat desk for 10 seconds.
- Utool Activation Not Successful:
- Red light flashing constantly: There might be an issue with the data cable or the cellphone's USB port. Please try a different cable or port (some data cables only support charging, not data transmission).
- Blue light always flashing quickly or not on: Ensure USB debugging is enabled and click [OK] on the "Allow USB debugging" popup. Unplug and replug the USB debugging data cable.
- Still unable to activate after red and blue lights are steadily on: Restart the cellphone and wait a few minutes before trying again.
- Blue light flashing slowly: You may not have installed the Flydigi Gamepad Assistant. Please return to the first step to install the application.
