Product Safety

ALWAYS:
- Connect to a properly grounded electrical outlet.

Mounting
The Mobile Spot 50 can be mounted on a flat surface using its rubber feet or hung upside-down using the included bracket. Ensure adequate ventilation around the product in either configuration.
Rigging Guidelines:
- Ensure easy access for maintenance and programming when choosing a location.
- Provide adequate ventilation around the product.
- Verify that the mounting structure or surface can support the product's weight.
- Mount securely to a rigging point, elevated platform, or truss.
- Use a mounting clamp with appropriate weight capacity when rigging onto a truss.
- When power linking multiple products, position them close enough for the power linking cable to reach.
- The rubber feet allow for surface mounting and act as floor supports. Ensure the product and cables are kept away from people when placed on the floor.
Display Operation
The fixture features a display and control buttons for operation.
Buttons:
- MENU: Access the menu, scroll through menu options, or exit without saving.

The Mobile Spot 50 is equipped with one metal gobo wheel featuring 7 gobos plus an open slot, and one color wheel with 7 colors plus an open slot.

Wireless Connections
The Mobile Spot 50 supports wireless connection to other fixtures using 2.4G wireless DMX frequencies, categorized by Group IDs 01-07. The fixture can operate as a Master, Slave, or be controlled by an external Wireless DMX controller.
Wireless DMX ON/OFF:
Press the Wireless DMX button on the front of the fixture to turn the wireless DMX function On or Off.

Group ID Overview:
Group IDs are used to assign fixtures to specific wireless control groups. To set the Group ID, press the “Wireless Group ID” button on the bottom of the fixture (see Page 5 - #18). The color of the LED indicates the current Group ID.

A green blinking LED indicates a successful connection to a wireless transmitter.
Master / Slave Settings
In a Master/Slave configuration, one Mobile Spot 50 acts as the Master to control multiple other Mobile Spot 50s (Slaves) for synchronized light shows.
Master Fixture Setup:
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to cycle to “SLnd” and press (ENTER).
- Use (UP) or (Down) to select an Auto or Sound active program and press (ENTER).
- Press (Wireless DMX) to turn on the wireless DMX transmitter/receiver.
- Press (Wireless Group ID) on the bottom of the fixture to choose the group ID.
Slave Fixture Setup:
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to cycle to “SLnd” and press (ENTER).
- Use (UP) or (DOWN) to locate “SL 2” and press (ENTER).
- Press (Wireless DMX) to turn on the wireless DMX transmitter/receiver.
- Press (Wireless Group ID) on the bottom of the fixture to choose the same group ID as the Master fixture.
- The Group ID LED indicator will blink when connected.
Connecting to a Wireless DMX Transmitter:
- Turn on your wireless DMX transmitter and set its group ID.
- Turn on your Mobile Spot 50.
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to cycle to “CHNd” and press (ENTER).
- Use (UP) or (DOWN) to set the operating Channel Mode (9ch or 11Ch).
- Press (Enter) to save.
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to cycle to “Addr” and press (ENTER).
- Use (UP) and (DOWN) to set the Mobile Spot 50's DMX address.
- Press (Enter) to save.
- Press (Wireless DMX) to turn wireless DMX ON.
- Press (Wireless Group ID) on the bottom of the fixture to choose the same group ID as your wireless transmitter.
- The Group ID LED indicator will blink when connected.
Stand Alone Settings
The Mobile Spot 50 can be operated without a DMX controller using its various standalone modes.
Note: Standalone operation (e.g., Auto or Sound Active) may cause the fixture to transmit DMX data. To prevent interference with other fixtures, do not connect it to a DMX network unless part of a proper Master/Slave configuration.
Automatic Programs:
To run the Mobile Spot 50 in Automatic Mode:
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to locate “SLnd” and press (ENTER).
- Press (UP) or (Down) to scroll through “Aut 1” through “Aut 4”.
- Press (Enter) to select.
- Aut 1 (Auto Program 1): Slow scan, full room coverage.
- Aut 2 (Auto Program 2): Fast, energetic moves across full room.
- Aut 3 (Auto Program 3): Slow pan, forward-facing only.
- Aut 4 (Auto Program 4): Fast and energetic, forward-facing only.
Sound Active Programs:
To run the Mobile Spot 50 in sound-active mode:
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to locate “SLnd” and press (ENTER).
- Press (UP) or (Down) to scroll through “Sou 1” through “Sou 4”.
- Press (Enter) to select.
- Sou 1 (Sound Program 1): Slow scan, full room coverage.
- Sou 2 (Sound Program 2): Fast, energetic moves across full room.
- Sou 3 (Sound Program 3): Slow pan, forward-facing only.
- Sou 4 (Sound Program 4): Fast and energetic, forward-facing only.
Sound Sensitivity
To adjust the sound sensitivity for Sound Active mode:
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to locate “SEnS” and press (ENTER).
- Press (UP) or (DOWN) to increase or decrease sensitivity.
- Press (ENTER) to save.
Pan and Tilt Invert
When units are Master/Slaved on opposite sides of a DJ booth, enabling Pan and Tilt Invert on one fixture makes it mirror the other, creating a more dynamic light show.
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to locate “rPAn” and press (ENTER).
- Press (UP) or (DOWN) to change the setting to “YES” and press (ENTER).
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to locate “rTlt” and press (ENTER).
- Press (UP) or (DOWN) to change the setting to “YES” and press (ENTER).
Screen Invert
When hanging the light upside down, the screen can be rotated 180° for easier menu operation.
To set the display orientation:
- Press (Menu) repeatedly to locate “dISP” and press (ENTER).
- Press (UP) or (Down) to change the setting to “yes” or “no” and press (ENTER).
- “yes” = normal rotation
- “no” = 180 degree rotation
IR Remote Overview
The IR remote controls various functions of the Mobile Spot 50.
- BLACK OUT: Toggles all light output on or off.
- STROBE: Toggles the strobe effect on or off.
- SAVE: Saves current remote settings and restores them after reboot.
- AUTO SELECT: Activates Auto Programs. Use ◀️ and ▶️ to scroll through programs 1 through 4.
- SELECT: Activates Sound Active Programs. Use ◀️ and ▶️ to scroll through programs 1 through 4.
- COLOR +/-: Manual Color selection.
- GOBO +/-: Manual Gobo selection.
- PAN +/-: Increases or decreases manual pan angle.
- TILT +/-: Increases or decreases manual tilt angle.
- Color Speed +/-: Activates color scrolling; + increases speed, - decreases speed.
- Gobo Speed +/-: Activates gobo scrolling; + increases speed, - decreases speed.
IR Remote Troubleshooting:
If the remote is not sending a signal, check if the red LED on the front lights up when a button is pressed. If the red LED does not light up, replace the battery (CR2025).
The IR remote requires a direct line of sight to the receiver on the back of the Mobile Spot 50. Ensure the remote is pointed directly at the receiver for proper operation (see Page 5 - #17).
To ensure the IR function is turned on:
- On the Mobile Spot 50, press (MENU) repeatedly to locate “Ir” and press (ENTER).
- Press (UP) or (DOWN) to locate “Iron” and press (ENTER).
Battery Life and Specifications
The Mobile Spot 50 features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for wireless operation, providing up to 5 hours of use on a full charge.
Charging:
When plugged in, the CHARGING LED indicator shows the charging status:

My Mobile Spot 50 is charging very slowly. | The Mobile Spot 50 has a high-capacity 20Ah battery and a powerful LED engine. While it can operate normally when plugged in, even with a fully drained battery, charging will be extremely slow during use. For significantly faster charging, turn the fixture off while it's plugged in. |
My Mobile Spot 50 is not charging | Please try replacing the fuse. Refer to Page 5 - #13 for fuse location. Fuse type: F5AL250V. |
Maintenance
Dust accumulation can reduce light output and cause overheating, potentially shortening the lifespan of the light source and causing mechanical wear. Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain optimum performance.
To clean the product:
- Unplug the product from power.
- Wait until the product is at room temperature.
- Use a vacuum or dry compressed air with a soft brush to remove dust from external surfaces and vents.
- Clean all transparent surfaces with a mild soap solution, ammonia-free glass cleaner, or ISO.
- Apply the cleaning solution directly to a soft, lint-free cotton cloth or a lens cleaning tissue.
- Gently wipe any dirt or grime towards the outside of the transparent surface.
- Gently polish the transparent surfaces until they are free of haze and lint.
