- When operating outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
- If operating in a damp location is unavoidable, use a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protected supply.

Assembly
Pairing
If the remote is not connected to the adapter, pairing can be set up by:
- Insert the Adapter into an outlet. The power indicator will light for 1 second to confirm power.
- Press the button on the Adapter and the remote until both LEDs begin to flash. A steady green light on both the Adapter and remote confirms pairing.
Note: The remote needs to be within close proximity for signal reception. This procedure times out in 30 seconds if not paired.
Multiple remotes can be paired to one adapter.
Unpairing
- Press and hold the remote button until its LED shows a flashing red light.
- Press and hold the adapter button until its pairing indicator LED shows a flashing red light.
This procedure times out in 30 seconds if not paired.
Remote Strap Installation
Follow these steps to install the remote strap:
- Feed the logo side of the strap through the inner side of the remote housing.
- Fold the strap over and press firmly.
- Feed the tail end of the strap through the outer side of the remote housing.
- Fold the strap over and press firmly.
To adjust the strap length, release the velcro and pull snug.
Remote Belt Clip
To remove the belt clip:
- Remove the screw from the back of the remote.
- Pull the belt clip away from the remote.
To install the belt clip:
- Line up the tabs on the clip with the notches on the back of the remote.
- Insert the screw and tighten securely.
General Use and Care
Use proper tools rated for this device. Others may be hazardous.
- Insert the Adapter into a wall outlet. Confirm the power indicator flashes and the pairing indicator is lit.
- Plug the corded tool into the Adapter outlet.
NOTICE: Do not use with a tool that requires input current greater than 12 A. This will result in damage to the adapter.
- Using the remote, press the power button to turn the tool ON/OFF.
Note: Ensure the tool being used is ON and fully operational.
Maintenance
Internal Remote Battery
WARNING: Chemical Burn Hazard. This device contains a lithium button/coin cell battery. A new or used battery can cause severe internal burns and lead to death in as little as 2 hours if swallowed or enters the body. Always secure the battery cover. If it does not close securely, stop using the device, remove the batteries, and keep it away from children. If you think batteries may have been swallowed or entered the body, seek immediate medical attention.
An internal battery is used on the remote for full functionality. To replace the battery:
- Remove the strap or the screw on the belt clip.
- Remove the screw and open the battery door.
- Remove the old battery, keep it away from children, and dispose of it properly.
- Insert the new battery (3V CR2032), with the positive side facing up.
- Close the battery door and tighten the screw securely.
- Reattach the strap or screw with belt clip.
