The Power Watchdog is warrantied for 3 years. The Power Watchdog is IP65 rated for outdoor use. The unit will operate fine without using the app. Error codes will be displayed on the unit. Otherwise, download the correct app and sync it to the Power Watchdog unit via Bluetooth.
