Bticino SWING Audio Handset

Model: 344704

Description

The SWING audio handset is designed for wall-mounted installation using a 2-wire system. It features keys for door lock release and four programmable keys (0-1-2-3) whose functions are set via configuration. The bell volume is adjustable or can be disabled, with 16 pre-programmed bell sounds available. Additional functions include conversation secrecy, office mode (automatic door lock release upon receiving a call from the entrance panel), and door lock status check.

When used with a Bticino "Elettrika" CISA door lock (with accessory 346240), the system allows for door lock status monitoring via door lock actuators (item 346230/346260). A flashing LED on the SWING handset indicates if the "Elettrika" CISA door lock is open.

A wall-fixing bracket is supplied with the unit.

Configuration

N - Handset Number

The 'N' configurator assigns a unique identification number to each handset within the system. Handsets must be configured sequentially. For parallel connections (max 3) within an apartment without item 346850, use the same 'N' configurator for those handsets.

P - Entrance Panel Association

The 'P' configurator identifies the associated entrance panel (EP). It determines which EP's audio is activated when the '0' key is pressed for the first time, and which door lock is activated when the door lock key is pressed while the handset is idle.

Configurator in P Key Function (0) Key Function
0-9 Entrance panel audio activation (configured with P=0-9) Opening of the EP door lock (configured with P=0-9)

MOD - Operating Mode of the Keys

In addition to the door lock release key, the SWING handset features 4 programmable keys (0-1-2-3). These keys can be assigned various functions such as activating external actuators, intercom, additional EP activation, or 'office' mode, depending on the configurators connected to 'MOD'.

The following tables detail the functions assignable to the programmable keys based on the 'MOD' setting:

MOD = 3 (Staircase light switching on)
