MAUL Bracket Clip 22490
This document provides technical specifications for the MAUL Bracket Clip, Article Number 22490.
Product Description
A particularly flat metal clip featuring a grip recess. It offers high clamping force and is designed for mounting on metal, plastic, or wood surfaces. It can also be used for hanging. Mounting hardware is not included with the product.
Visual Representation
The clip is depicted from multiple angles. The front view shows dimensions such as a clamping width of 7.4 mm and a mounting hole diameter of 4.5 mm. The side profile indicates a height (H) of 9 mm and lengths (L) of 30 mm, 22.5 mm, and 29.5 mm. The back view reveals the mounting bracket, which has a width (B) of 72 mm and a depth of 40 mm. It includes a retractable hanging eyelet (Aufhängeöse ein-/ausziehbar) and a visible "Product Liability Label" (Produkthaftungs-Etikett). An image of the product packaging, containing 10 clips, is also shown.
Dimensions and Weight
Attribute | Product | Packaging (10 pcs. carton) |
---|---|---|
Dimensions (L x B x H) | 30 x 72 x 9 mm | 85 x 75 x 35 mm |
Weight (complete) | 0.015 kg | 0.162 kg |
Performance Specifications
The following specifications detail the clamping and holding forces of the MAUL Bracket Clip.
Testing Setup Description
Testing procedures involve measuring the clamping force (F1) against the clamping width (W) using a specialized testing machine. Holding force is assessed under load using both a metal plate (F2) and paper (F3) to simulate different gripping conditions.
Performance Data
Clamping Width (W) [mm] | Clamping Force (F1) at 8 mm [N] | Holding Force (F2) with Metal [N] | Holding Force (F3) with Paper [N] |
---|---|---|---|
8 | approx. 10 | approx. 2 | approx. 5 |
The holding force achieved with paper is noted to be greater than with metal, attributed to the increased friction experienced on the bracket clip's surface.
