Base Cabinet Preparation and Support Frame
- Custom cabinetry or modification of stock cabinets is required for proper fit and support.
- A solid wood SUPPORT FRAME must be constructed under the sink, capable of holding up to 300 lbs. Avoid cabinets made of MDF particle boards. Consult a professional carpenter or cabinet maker.
- The sink may extend up to 1-1/4" beyond the front face of the cabinet.
- Build the support frame using solid hardwood (e.g., 2x4s), with support bars running front-to-back and a cross bar at the front. An additional cross-bar can be added at the back.
- If cabinet sidewalls are weak, install vertical legs from the support frame to the floor.
- Secure a 3/4" thick plywood platform on top of the support frame. Make cutouts for the sink drain or garbage disposal. Ensure clearance for faucet water supply lines.
- For undermount installation, the sink rim should be level and flush with the top surface of cabinet sidewalls. Use shims if necessary to ensure proper leveling for water drainage.

Countertop Preparation
- Use the actual sink as a template for countertop cutout due to dimensional variations.
- Countertop cutout can be customized. Recommended: 1/8"-1/4" positive reveal on sides and back. Options include zero reveal (flush fit) or 1/4" negative reveal (overhang).
- Suitable countertop materials include granite, marble, quartz, cultured stone, or butcher block. Laminate countertops are not recommended.
- Countertop preparation and cutout should be performed by a professional installer or fabricator.
- After cutout, clean the bottom of the countertop and sink rim with denatured alcohol. Apply silicone sealant around the top edge of the sink (2 sides and back). Place countertop onto the sink. Remove excess silicone before it dries.
Reveal Options:
- 1/4" Positive Reveal: The countertop edge is approximately 1/4" back from the sink edge, exposing the sink rim.
- Zero Reveal (Flush Fit): The countertop edge meets the sink edge, fitting flush with the sink bowl.
- 1/4" Overhang: The countertop extends 1/4" over the sink edge on all sides.
The sink is described as 'Very Durable & Leakproof'.
