FAQs
My refrigerator is making unfamiliar sounds. Is this normal?
New, high-efficiency units may produce unfamiliar sounds that indicate normal operation. Refer to the "NORMAL OPERATING SOUNDS" section in your Use & Care Manual for more details.
How do I use the side door dispenser?
The side door dispenser is located in the left-hand refrigerator door. Hold the door with one hand while placing your glass under the nozzle. Push the paddle with your other hand or finger to dispense water. If your glass is too small to activate the paddle, use your finger.
Why does my refrigerator seem to run continuously?
Your refrigerator features a variable speed compressor designed to run 100% of the time, except during defrost cycles. It may run faster at times, such as after a defrost cycle.
How does my CrispSeal® Fresh Crisper work?
The crispers are designed to block dry air and slow produce aging by reducing ethylene gases, which accelerate ripening. They feature an automatic humidity control membrane and do not require settings. If the membrane becomes damaged or dirty, it can be washed with soap and water; ensure it is thoroughly dried before replacement. For more information, refer to the "TROUBLESHOOTING" section in your Use & Care Manual.
