Preparing the Housing Unit
WARNING: Install a separator panel under the hob. The lower part of the product must not be accessible after installation. If an oven is beneath the hob, do not install the separator panel.
Observe minimum required clearances between the hob and the separator panel for correct operation.
Cut the worktop to fit before installing the hob and carefully remove any shavings or sawdust.
If an oven is installed underneath, ensure it has a cooling system.
Do not install the hob over a dishwasher or washing machine, as steam and humidity could damage electronic circuits.
Electrical Connection
WARNING: Disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician aware of current safety and installation regulations.
The manufacturer declines liability for injury or damage from failure to observe regulations.
The power supply cable must be long enough to allow the hob to be removed from the worktop.
Ensure the voltage specified on the appliance rating plate matches the house electrical system voltage.
Do not use extension leads.
Connecting to the Terminal Board
Use an H05RR-F cable as indicated in the table below for electrical connection. Connect the yellow/green earth wire to the terminal with the [earth-symbol]. This wire must be longer than the others.

Switching a Single Cooking Zone OFF
Press the corresponding round key. If the zone is still hot, the letter "H" (residual heat indicator) appears. The display switches off when the zone cools.
Activating and Adjusting Cooking Zones
Position a pot on the required zone. Activate the zone by pressing its round key. Use the slide touchscreen to adjust power levels from 1 to 9. Press "BOOST" or "P" for the booster function (max 10 minutes, then switches to level 9). If multiple zones are active, select a zone by pressing its round key to adjust it via the touchscreen.
If an unsuitable pot is used, "no pot" message appears. The hob switches off if no pot is detected within 60 seconds.
In models with three zones, up to 3 "BOOST" functions can be activated simultaneously, with power distribution managed by the appliance.
Timer Selection
Set a maximum cooking time of 90 minutes. Select the cooking zone, then use the [plus-key] and [minus-key] keys for the timer. The time counts down, and the zone switches off automatically when elapsed. An acoustic signal sounds.
Control Panel Lock
Press the [lock-icon] key for three seconds to lock controls, preventing accidental activation (e.g., during cleaning). An indicator light turns on. The OFF function remains active. Repeat the procedure to unlock.
IMPORTANT: Water, spilled liquid, or objects on the control panel can accidentally activate/deactivate the lock.
Hold Function
Press the [hold-icon] key to temporarily hold and then resume cooking processes, maintaining previous settings (except SENSOR and timer). '---' blinks on the display. Press the key again to resume.
Flexible Zone
Combines two cooking zones into one large zone, ideal for oval, rectangular, or elongated pans (max base dimensions 40x18 cm).
Press the [flexible-zone-icon] key. Both zone displays show "0", and both dots are lit. Adjust power using the touchscreen (1-9). Press the key again to deactivate and return to two separate zones. Press OFF to switch off.
Note: Booster and SENSOR functions cannot be used with Flexible Zone. Timer appears next to the higher power plate.
Description of Automatic Functions
The hob features automatic functions for each zone. An indicator light and "A" appear on the display when selected.
SENSOR Function
Automatically selects ideal power to boil water and signals boiling point. Place pot with water on the zone, select zone, press [sensor-icon] key. "A" appears. Animation shows heating. To ensure correct operation: use water only (ambient temp), no salt/ingredients until boiling, do not change power/remove pot, use correct pan size (±1 cm from outline), fill pot at least 1/3 full (max 1L for Ø180mm, max 7L for Ø240mm), do not use pressure cookers. Do not put lid on pot. Do not activate if zone is hot ("H"). Hob signals boiling point with acoustic signals (3 times). After second signal, minute counter starts for boiling time. After third signal, hob selects lower power to maintain boil. You can then add ingredients, set timer, or change power. Changing power or activating hold deactivates SENSOR. Hob manages booster levels autonomously. Cookware quality may affect performance.
Simmering
Maintains a power level suitable for simmering long-cooking recipes (e.g., tomato sauce, ragu, soups). Prevents boiling over, sticking, or burning. Use after bringing food to boil. Deactivate by pressing OFF.
Melting
Maintains a low temperature for slowly melting delicate products (e.g., chocolate, butter) without compromising quality. Deactivate by pressing OFF.
Keep Warm
Maintains a power level suitable for keeping meals or serving dishes warm. Deactivate by pressing OFF.
GRIDDLE Function
Designed for use with the specific accessory supplied. Automatically identifies ideal power for grilling food. Wait for accessory preheating signal (beep every 30 seconds, three times). Place food on accessory. Minute counter starts after second beep. Accessory provides uniform heat distribution for perfect grilling (meat, fish, vegetables, kebabs, steaks, hamburgers, etc.).
Note: "Flexible Zone" and "Booster" functions cannot be activated on the same zone when GRIDDLE is in use.
Cleaning
WARNING: Never use steam cleaners. Before cleaning, ensure cooking zones are switched off and residual heat indicator ("H") is not displayed.
IMPORTANT: Do not use abrasive sponges or pan scourers, as they could damage the glass surface.
- Clean the hob when cool, after each use, to remove food residues.
- Sugar and foods with high sugar content damage the glass ceramic surface and must be removed immediately.
- Salt, sugar, and sand can scratch the glass surface.
- Use a soft cloth, absorbent kitchen wipes, or a specific hob cleaner (follow manufacturer's instructions).
Troubleshooting Guide
Read and follow "Instructions for Use". Connect hob to electricity and check supply. Clean and dry hob thoroughly.
If the hob cannot be turned off, disconnect it from the power supply.
If alphanumeric codes appear on the display, consult the following table:

Functions Table
Function | Description of automatic functions |
---|---|
Simmering | Identifies a power level that is suitable for simmering long-cooking recipes. Suitable for cooking tomato sauce, ragu, soups, minestrone, maintaining a constant cooking level; ideal for cooking in a bain-marie (creams) and regenerating cooked food. Prevents food from boiling over or sticking to the bottom and burning, as often happens with these recipes. Use this function after bringing the food to the boil. |
Melting | Identifies a power level that is suitable for slowly melting delicate products without compromising their sensorial quality (chocolate, butter, etc.). |
Keep warm | Identifies a power level that is suitable for keeping meals or serving dishes warm. |
Sensor | Automatically senses when the water reaches the boiling point and reduces the power to maintain the boil until the food is added. When the water reaches the boiling point, an acoustic signal indicates that you can add the desired ingredients (e.g. seasoning, pasta, rice, vegetables, meat and fish to be boiled), but also homemade preserves or accessories to be sterilised. |
Flexible zone | This function combines two cooking zones to offer an extra-large cooking surface for rectangular and oval containers or grilling pans. To grill large or many food items (fish, kebabs, vegetables, steaks, wurstels). To cook recipes with liquids or broth such as roulades and whole fish in casseroles/fish kettles/pans. |
Griddle | Designed to be used exclusively with the accessory supplied. This function automatically identifies a power level that is ideal for grilling various types of food. Wait until the function signals that the accessory is preheated, then place food on it. The accessory supplied provides uniform heat distribution that ensures perfect grilling of any type of food (meat, fish, vegetables); e.g. kebabs, steaks, hamburgers, slices of fish, wurstels, cheese, vegetables. |
