1. Omnisense Packing List

The following items are included in the Omnisense camera package:

Visuals show the Omnisense camera, junction box, controller, various cables (1.5M Analog Video, 10M Power/Network, 2M Controller, 1M 2C Power), and manuals/templates.

2. Prerequisites

Before proceeding with the setup, ensure you have the following:

Tip: Temporarily connecting analog video from the Omnisense camera to the TZT3 MFD saves the need for a laptop during setup. Camera setup can be completed using the TZT3 with analog video.

3. Initial Setup

  1. Using the 10M Power/Network cable, connect one end to the camera and the RJ45 end to the Camera Port inside the Junction Box.
  2. Using the 2M Network cable, connect the waterproof RJ45 to the controller to the other end to the first Controller/MFD Port of the Junction Box.
  3. Using the 1.5M Analog Video Cable, connect the gold connector to the A/V connector inside the Junction Box and connect the BNC end to your BNC Female to RCA adapter. Then plug the RCA adapter into Video In 1 port of the TZT3 MFD.
  4. Using the 1M power cable, connect one end to the boat's 12VDC panel and the other end to the Junction Box to supply 12VDC to the Omnisense system. Use the white wire for positive (+) and the black wire for negative (-).
  5. Using the user-supplied shielded RJ45 to RJ45 cable, connect one end into the Junction Box and the other end to an open port on the HUB the TZT3 MFD is connected to.
