Available RF Remote Control Operation Guide
Optional USB-based RF remote controls are available for the 866 Integrated. These remotes will operate most of the basic functions of the 866. The two versions of the remote are shown on the next page. One version is a squared body with raised buttons, the other is a rounded body with rubber buttons. Both offer the same functions. To install and enable an RF remote, please follow the following instructions:
1. Turn the 866 OFF from the rear panel. The 866 must be turned completely off. Placing the unit in Standby mode is not sufficient.
2. Insert the USB receiver into one of the USB connectors on the rear panel. It does not matter which USB connector you choose.
3. Turn the 866 ON from the rear panel and wait for the boot-up process to finish. The RF remote is now ready for use.
