SAFETY RULES

WARNING -- READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.

Using electrical products can create hazards including injury, fire, and electrical shock. Failure to follow these instructions may damage the unit, impair its operation, and void the warranty. In case of inconsistency, the English version prevails.

When using electrical appliances, follow basic safety precautions:

SAFETY RULES (CONTINUED)

HOW A DEHUMIDIFIER WORKS

When switched ON, a fan pulls moisture-laden air into the unit. Air passes through dehumidifying coils, which condense moisture collected in the water tank. Dry air is then exhausted into the room as warm air.

IMPORTANT: The dehumidifier operates best between 41°F (5°C) and 89°F (32°C). Performance may be reduced outside this range.

SELECTING A LOCATION - IMPORTANT

SELECTING A LOCATION - IMPORTANT (CONTINUED)

Diagram: Shows a dehumidifier with arrows indicating 17.7 inches (45 cm) clearance on the left and right sides.

IMPORTANT: Dehumidifier effectiveness depends on factors like air intake rate and circulation. For example, a frequently opened basement door increases dehumidification time. In rooms with closets, ensure adequate air circulation to dehumidify them; open doors as needed. Larger areas may require a second dehumidifier.

UNPACKAGING THE DEHUMIDIFIER

Diagram: Shows the water tank being pulled out, with a label pointing to the "Splash Guard".

Diagram: Shows the "Foam Float" inside the water tank, correctly positioned level with the top edge.

There is a Foam Float inside the water tank that senses the water level to automatically stop dehumidification when the tank is full. Ensure the Foam Float is positioned correctly and lies level with the top edge of the water tank.

DO NOT REMOVE THIS FOAM FLOAT.

FUNCTION BUTTONS

POWER CONTROL

Press the button to switch the dehumidifier ON or OFF.

HUMIDITY CONTROL SETTING

When the unit is ON, the Display Screen shows the current humidity percentage. Press + or - to select your preferred humidity level in 5% increments (30% RH to 90% RH). The display reverts to current humidity after 10 seconds.

IMPORTANT: A 5% threshold applies. The compressor shuts off when relative humidity is 5% lower than the set point. The fan runs for up to 3 minutes to cool the motor. Operation resumes when relative humidity is 5% higher than the set point.

Recommended Settings: For the first 2-3 days, use 30% humidity at High Fan Speed to remove odors. After a few days, adjust to a comfortable level (40%-50% RH).

NOTE: The humidity sensor may show a variance of about 5% from the actual room humidity. This can cause slight variations in operation time.

CONTINUOUS MODE

To activate Continuous Mode, press the button until "CO" appears. The ⚙️ indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will run continuously.

USE & OPERATION (CONTINUED)

FUNCTION BUTTONS (CONTINUED)

When the water tank is full, the ? indicator illuminates, and the unit beeps for 3 seconds. The compressor and fan stop. To switch off the indicator light, empty the water tank and ensure it is properly secured.

IMPORTANT: Do not place the full water tank on the floor, as an uneven base could cause spillage.

TIMER CONTROL

The dehumidifier can be set to automatically switch ON or OFF within 0.5-24 hour intervals. The selected hours are shown on the Display Screen.

NOTE: Ensure the unit has power before setting the timer.

Auto-Off Timer:

DRAINING THE WATER

WARNING: Always drain and discard water collected from dehumidification. The water is not clean and cannot be used for drinking.

1. Draining water collected in the Water Tank

Condensed water collects in the tank. When full, the dehumidifier shuts OFF, the ? indicator illuminates, and the unit beeps. Do not move the dehumidifier when the tank is full to prevent spillage.

  1. 1.1 Locate the water tank at the front and gently pull it out.
  2. 1.2 Grip the handle and carry the tank to a sink to empty.
  3. 1.3 Replace the empty tank, ensuring it is properly positioned. Misalignment will pause operation and illuminate a warning light with a beep until corrected.

Diagram: Shows the water tank being pulled out and tilted to empty.

Diagram: Shows the "Foam Float" inside the water tank, correctly positioned.

NOTE: The Foam Float senses water level and stops dehumidification when the tank is full. Ensure it is correctly positioned level with the tank's top edge.

  2. 2.3 Position the other end of the tube in the sink or drain. Ensure the tube is not bent or kinked, which could stop water flow. Secure the tube over the drain to prevent spillage.

Diagram: Shows correct (check mark) and incorrect (cross mark) positioning of the drain tube end in a sink.

IMPORTANT: Ensure water flows down the tube by keeping it angled downwards and free of bends or kinks.

IMPORTANT: If the unit is on uneven ground or the drain tube is installed incorrectly, the water tank may fill and stop operation. Check the ground and reinstall the drain tube if necessary.

3. Continuous Water Drainage – Using the Auto Drain Pump option

*This option is for Model TP70PWK / TP70PWKN with Built-in Drain Pump.

The Auto Drain Pump allows continuous drainage when the drain is further away or located above the dehumidifier. The Auto Drain Pump Tube attaches to the Direct Drain Outlet. When the water level is high, the pump automatically moves water to the drain, allowing vertical or horizontal drainage.

Illustration: Shows the "Auto Drain Pump Tube" (16.4 ft / 5 m) and "Auto Drain Pump Cap".

NOTE: The Auto Drain Pump Tube and Cap come pre-installed.

  1. 3.1 Locate the drain outlet at the back of the unit. Unscrew and remove the Direct Drain Cap. Insert and screw the Auto Drain Pump Tube into the Direct Drain Outlet.
