Promotional and Data Protection Terms – “Iconic Summer Sweepstakes”

1. Name and Organizer of the Promotion

The name of the promotion is the “Iconic Summer Sweepstakes” (hereinafter referred to as the “Promotion”).

The Organizer and Operator of the Promotion: Newdoor Communications Kft., registered office: 1044 Budapest, Ady Endre utca 23., tax number: 23576445-2-41, company registration number: 01 09 972165 (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer” and “Operator”).

2. Duration of the Promotion

The Promotion runs from July 11, 2024, to September 15, 2024, or until revoked, or while stocks last.

Purchase Period - AUCHAN Magyarország Kft., Magyar Telekom Nyrt., Vodafone Magyarország Zrt.,: 2024.08.01. – 2024.08.31.

Delivery of Promotional Products:

The Organizer and the Operator are entitled to unilaterally modify the duration of the Promotion, the date of the drawing, and the delivery date of the promotional product (including its completion before the closing date mentioned above).

3. Promotional Mechanism and Participation Conditions

Participation in the promotion is open to natural persons aged 18 and over who purchase a Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, or Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G smartphone from one of the participating partners during the promotion period and register validly at http://xiaomiofficial.hu/promociok/ikonikus-nyar and agree to participate in the promotion.

Participants who purchase the specified Redmi smartphones will enter the promotion with 1 entry each (one for each device) for the promotion prizes.

Yettel Magyarország Zrt., Magyar Telekom Nyrt., Vodafone Magyarország Zrt., Alza.hu Kft, AUCHAN Magyarország Kft., eMAG Magyarország Kft., Euronics (Vöröskő Kft.), Media Markt Magyarország Kft., Pepita Group Zrt., Xiaomi Store Arena Mall, xiaomistoreonline.hu (East Byte Hungary Kft.), Xiaomi Hungary Official webshop (Bravosmart Kft.), with the condition that only promotional products purchased from the eMAG marketplace (EXTREME DIGITAL - eMAG Magyarország Kft.) are eligible for the Promotion; and only promotional products purchased from the Pepita marketplace (Pepita Group Zrt) are eligible for the Promotion.

Successful registration requires the Registrant to have a valid registration for the “Iconic Summer” Promotion and to voluntarily consent to participate in the Promotion by ticking the designated checkbox.

After registration, the provided data will be verified, and if valid, the participant will be entered into the promotion.

The Organizer and the Operator reserve the right to unilaterally modify or terminate the terms and conditions of this regulation or the promotion itself, even during the promotion period. Any modifications to the terms or notification of the potential termination of the promotional product will be published by the Operator on http://xiaomiofficial.hu/promociok/ikonikus-nyar. It is the responsibility of the Registrants to stay informed about these changes.

4. Invalid Entry

Any registration that does not meet the participation conditions set forth in these promotional terms and conditions, or does not comply with the promotional mechanism described in point 3, will be considered invalid.

5. Promotional Products and Conditions of Receipt

Promotional Products:

• 50 x Redmi Watch 4
• 10 x Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen)
• 1 x Mi 4K Laser Projector 150”

At the end of the sweepstakes, the Organizer will draw a total of 61 winners using a random number generator, in the presence of a three-member drawing committee, and a record of the drawing will be kept. The Organizer will also draw 30 reserve winners.

If a winner does not claim their prize or if contact cannot be made within 10 days of notification based on the data provided, the next reserve winner will be notified.

The Organizer and the Operator are entitled to unilaterally modify the duration of the Promotion and the delivery date of the prize (including its completion before the closing date mentioned above).

The promotional products will be delivered to the winners via courier service within 30 working days from the drawing.

The applicant is obliged to cooperate with the Organizer and the Operator and to provide all requested data to ensure the delivery of the promotional product as described above.

The promotional product cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted for another item. In case of force majeure, the Organizer and the Operator reserve the right to replace the promotional product with a similar item of equal value. The promotion is valid while stocks last.

The Organizer and the Operator are not responsible for damages or consequences caused by incorrect or erroneous data provided by the uploader.

6. Prize Payment Related Matters

Participants in this promotion are not subject to personal income tax or other levies related to the prize.

7. Data Management

By uploading content, the participant in the Promotion acknowledges and accepts that they have understood the purpose of data management during the Promotion and simultaneously give their express consent for the Organizer and the Operator to record and use their provided or accessible data free of charge for the execution and documentation of this Promotion, and to continue to process it free of charge in the future.

Contact details of registrants will be deleted after the promotional product has been delivered.

The condition for receiving the promotional product is that the Registrant provides their mandatory data and makes it available to the Organizer and the Operator.

The Organizer and the Operator undertake to process participants' personal data in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, including Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.

Participants whose personal data is processed in the promotion may request information about the processing of their personal data at any time, and may also request the correction of their personal data. The Operator will send this information in writing or electronically to the affected participant within the shortest possible time, but no later than 30 days after receiving the request. The participant has the right to request the deletion of their personal data (i.e., to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data).

Deletion can be requested in writing from the Operator. The participant may withdraw their consent to the processing of data already provided at any time, without justification, in whole or in part. Upon receipt of the notification of withdrawal of consent, the Operator will promptly cease data processing, permanently delete the participant from its records, and the personal data affected by the withdrawal will be deleted in such a way that the person making the withdrawal declaration is clearly identifiable. The Operator will then notify the participant of these actions.

The processed data will be deleted from the Organizer's and the Operator's databases, as well as from the Operator's system, within 8 working days following the deletion request.

If the registrant believes that the data processing is contrary to their personal or private life protection, or is illegal, they may turn to the Operator or the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information for clarification. If registrants do not agree with the processing of their data, they can request their deletion from the records in writing at any time via the Operator's postal address.

These promotional terms have been drafted taking into account Hungarian legal regulations.

8. Disclaimer

None of the companies involved in the organization of the Promotion are liable, and exclude any claims for compensation, damages, or losses related to the Promotion. Legal action concerning the promotion is excluded.

If a registrant registers unlawfully, the Organizer or the Operator will exclude them from the Promotion. The Organizer, the Operator, or the Organizer’s Representative shall not be liable for any unauthorized content or incorrectly provided data. The companies organizing the promotion, as well as their managing directors and employees, disclaim liability for defects in the promotional products, unless Hungarian law expressly prohibits such exclusion of liability.

If the registrant does not accept the promotional product, they cannot claim it from the Organizer/Operator/Organizer’s Representative thereafter.

The Organizer and the Operator are not liable for consequences arising from data provided incorrectly or erroneously by the participant.

The Organizer and the Operator are not liable for problems arising from technical errors.

By participating, registrants acknowledge and accept all terms and conditions of this promotional regulation.
