1. Important Safety Precautions
Please read this manual carefully and use the Aiper device in accordance with its instructions. Aiper is not responsible for any loss or injury caused by improper use of this device. For your safety and the optimal performance of this device, please read and follow the recommendations below:
- Do not use the Aiper device when there are people or animals in the pool.
- Turn off the device when it is not in use or when maintenance is being performed.
- Do not allow children to ride on the device under any circumstances. Supervise them when children are near a functioning Aiper device.
- Use only Aiper authorized power adapters.
- The adapter cable may only be replaced by a qualified electrician or Aiper customer care department.
- It is recommended to plug the power adapter into a power strip or surge protector, not directly into an electrical outlet.
- Before charging via adapter, ensure the device is turned off and the charging port is dry. During charging, your Aiper should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not cover the Aiper device during charging, as this may cause component overheating.
- If you are not using the machine, store it indoors or in a cool place.
- Do not drain the Aiper from the water, as this may cause overheating.
- The sealed drive kit of your Aiper model should only be disassembled by certified professionals.
- Do not use the device and the pool filter simultaneously.
- When working near the pool, be careful of your steps and maintain your balance.
- Do not drop, puncture, or intentionally damage the device's casing, as this may void your warranty.
- When inserting the device into the water, the front of the device must face upwards and should never be placed upside down or thrown into the pool.
- Do not charge the device when the charging port is wet.
- Do not use the Aiper device and another pool skimmer simultaneously.
- Do not wash the solar panel with a pressure washer, as it may be damaged.
- When the device is in operation, do not insert your hands into any part of the device, as this may cause injury.

3. Operation
A. Using Anti-String Bars
- When to use: If there are shallow steps or other structures in the pool, the skimmer may get stuck on these obstacles. To prevent this, you can adjust the built-in anti-string bars.
- How to use: Press the top button on the bar cover and pull the bars down. Adjust them in pairs – both front and/or both rear – to balance the device. To return the bars to their housing, press the corresponding button and push the bars up until they lock into place.

B. Charging
There are two ways to charge:
- Solar Charging: After turning on the device, place it in sunlight, and it will charge automatically.
- Adapter Charging: In insufficient sunlight, the solar panel may not be effective for charging. The charging port on the device allows you to always maintain control and provides an alternative charging method.
Notes:
- If the device does not turn on after pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds upon first use, charge it first using the DC adapter.
- DC Adapter Charging: When using this method, the device will automatically turn on and turn off when the adapter is disconnected.
- After fully charging or before use, disconnect the power adapter and close the charging port cover to prevent water from entering the device.
C. Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
- When powered on: In sufficient sunlight, the solar panel will charge the device, and the device will enter standby mode.
- Powering off the device: Disconnects the device from the power source, and the solar panel will stop charging your device.
Before powering on, place the device on a flat surface.
The LED indicator will flash rapidly upon startup. Before immersing the device in water, wait until the LED indicator remains steadily lit.

CAUTION: Your Aiper pool skimmer is best used under the following water conditions.
- Temperature: pH Value: 7.0-7.4
- Chlorine: Maximum 4 ppm
- NaCl: Maximum 6500 ppm
5. App and Network Configuration
To remotely view and control the device using the Aiper app, ensure the device is within range with sufficient network coverage; otherwise, remote access may be unavailable. App control is optional and requires network configuration to access. The device can operate for pool cleaning without connecting to the app.
A. Download the Aiper App
Download or update the "Aiper" app from the App Store or Google Play.
B. Network Configuration
- The Aiper app is compatible with the following smart devices: Apple (iOS) Version 12 and newer - iPhone, iPad. Android operating systems from version 8.0.
- Ensure your smart device (phone/tablet) is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure your smart device (phone/tablet) has Bluetooth enabled.
- Ensure your router supports the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi frequency.
- Keep your phone within 20 feet of the device for a better connection.
C. Create an Account
- Upon first use of the Aiper app, tap "Sign Up" on the login page to create an account.
- Select your region, enter your email, and tap "Continue".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the verification code from your email and set an account password.
- Tap "Confirm" and agree to the user agreement and privacy policy to complete account creation.
D. Log in to the App
- Tap the "Sign In" button on the home screen to log in to your account.
- Enter your email and password, then tap "Sign In" to log in to the Aiper app.
E. Add Device/Network Configuration
Choose one of the following network configuration methods:
1) Adding via Bluetooth
- Tap the "Add" button in the device list to add and connect the device, then start network configuration.
- Follow the app's instructions to complete Bluetooth pairing, then start network configuration.
2) Adding via Code
- If your phone cannot detect the device's Bluetooth signal and you cannot add the device via Bluetooth, you can add it via Wi-Fi by scanning its barcode.

- Tap "Add via code" to start configuring the device to the network via code.
- Follow the instructions to scan the barcode on the device.
- Tap "Set up now" and connect to the device's Wi-Fi in the system settings according to the app's instructions. After a successful connection, tap Next to start network configuration.
3) Manual Configuration
- Manual configuration must be completed within 10 minutes of starting the device. Otherwise, the system will need to be restarted.
- If you cannot add the device via QR code, you can manually select the device type and add the Wi-Fi device.
- Tap to select the device type.
- Select the appropriate device model and tap Add.
- Tap "Set up now" and connect to the device's Wi-Fi in the system settings according to the app's instructions.
- Follow the instructions to complete Bluetooth pairing, then start network configuration.
Troubleshooting App Issues
Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
"Device not found" | APP cannot connect to the device. | Check if the device is powered on. Ensure the connection is not pending. If the LED indicator is flashing, reset the Wi-Fi device. The device is too far from the router. Adjust the router's position or install a Wi-Fi extender at home to ensure Wi-Fi signal coverage for the device. |

6. Operating Instructions
A. Automatic Cleaning Mode
When the device is powered on, press the Start/Stop button on the device or in the app once to start/stop the automatic cleaning mode. In automatic cleaning mode, the device operates automatically and will charge via the solar panel on sunny days. By default, the device operates in automatic cleaning mode.

To remove the device from the water, you can use the Aiper app to manually move it to the edge of the pool for retrieval, or wait for the device to reach the pool edge and lift it by the handle.
C. Remote Mode (Aiper App Operation Only)
Using the remote mode in the Aiper app, you can manually control the device and move it forward, backward, left, and right. If the device remains idle for three minutes in Remote Mode, it will return to the previous mode.
D. Intermittent Mode
When the battery level is low, the LED indicator will turn yellow. The device will operate intermittently and resume operation once the battery level is restored. Important information about intermittent mode: If sunlight is weak and the solar charging rate drops below the device's energy consumption, the device will automatically shut down due to lack of power. However, no manual intervention is required. The device will recharge via the solar panel when the sun rises again the next day and will automatically resume its operation.
E. Water Temperature Detection (Available only in the Aiper App)
When the device is connected to your smart device, users can access the pool water temperature within the app.
F. Reset to Factory Settings
To restore factory settings, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. This action will erase all data from the device, including network configurations and cleaning records.
7. Maintenance and Storage
Clean the debris collection basket every 2-3 days to keep the device operating at high efficiency.
A. Cleaning the Debris Collection Basket
- Grasp the device handle and lift it out of the pool, placing it on a flat surface.
- Hold the device handle with one hand (to prevent injury during operation), and with the other hand, press the button on the solar panel cover and push the solar panel cover back.
- Pull the cover towards the rear end; otherwise, it will affect the removal of the debris bin.
- The debris collection basket handle will automatically slide out. Do not get too close to the handle to avoid being hit by the sliding handle.
- Lift the debris collection basket handle to remove it from the device. Empty the basket and rinse it with a high-pressure water gun or hose until it is completely clean.
- Reinsert the debris collection basket into the device and push the top cover back into its original position. Ensure the cover is pushed into place so it does not slip off when lifted.
Please note that the handle on the debris bin cover will automatically return to its original position when the top cover is in place.
B. Cleaning the Solar Panel
You may see white residue on the solar panel, which consists of chemical substances and minerals from the pool water. Rinse the residue on the solar panel with clean water and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. WARNING: Do not use a pressure washer or any other scraping tool on the solar panel, as this may damage the device and void the warranty.
C. Cleaning the Ultrasonic Sensor
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the ultrasonic sensor to prevent it from getting dirty.
D. Cleaning the Sliding Rails
If the top cover is difficult to slide, there may be dirt or debris in the sliding rail. Carefully turn the device over and rinse the sliding rail with a high-pressure water gun.
E. Storing the Device
When winter arrives or if the skimmer has not been used for more than a month, you can use the following methods for device storage:
- Ensure the device is not in low battery mode (LED indicator is steadily blue).
- Turn it off by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds.
- Clean the device with a dry cloth.
- Store in a cool, dry, indoor area away from high temperatures.
- Fully charge the device before next use.
- To extend the device's lifespan, you can use the DC adapter to charge the device once every 2 months.
8. Troubleshooting
Note: The solar panel can only charge the device when it is powered on.
In case of device malfunction, the red LED indicator on the device will flash with an audible signal, and the app will display a malfunction. You can try to resolve the malfunction according to the instructions in the FAQ or the instructions in the Aiper app, or contact after-sales service.

10. Warranty
This product has passed all quality and safety control tests performed by the factory's technical department.
- This product is covered by a warranty that applies to the battery and motor from the date of purchase. The warranty conditions are subject to the legal provisions of the respective country.
- This warranty is void if the product has been modified, misused, or repaired by an unauthorized person.
- The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by improper handling of the product by the owner.
- For claims or repairs during the warranty period, the order number or record must be presented.
- This is an additional warranty provided by AIPER INTELLIGENT SARL at 43-47 avenue de la Grande Armée, 75116 Paris, France. This warranty does not affect the consumer's statutory remedies against the seller in case of non-conformity.
