Safety Information
Many remote-control models are equipped with powerful motors and sharp propellers. Exercise caution when using or maintaining models. Always disconnect power to the model and remove propellers before performing assembly or maintenance.
Do not operate the Boxer remote control system under the following conditions:
- Severe weather or strong windy conditions (rain, hail, snow, storms) or electromagnetic environments.
- Limited visibility.
- Areas with people, property, high-voltage power lines, public roads, vehicles, or animals present.
- When feeling tired, unwell, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- If the remote control or model appears damaged or not working properly.
- Areas with high 2.4GHz interference or where 2.4GHz radio is prohibited.
- When the radio's battery voltage is too low.
- Areas where local regulations prohibit the use of aviation models.
Important Notes
Antenna Installation
Install the provided antenna in the top of the radio BEFORE installing batteries and turning on the system. DO NOT operate the radio without the antenna installed and the internal RF module powered on, as this will damage the internal RF module and void the warranty.
Firmware Updates
The Boxer comes pre-installed with the most stable firmware. Only attempt to update the firmware if you are confident in the process. Incorrect firmware updates may render the remote control inoperable.
Manual & Firmware Download
The Boxer is pre-installed with factory-approved EdgeTX firmware. To download the latest software manual, visit the RadioMaster website:

Batteries & Charging
The Boxer features a built-in USB-C charging function for 3.7V lithium batteries. The charging circuit is designed for 2x 3.7V Li-ion 18650 or 2x 3.7V Li-Poly batteries (2s 7.4v Lipo battery pack). The nominal battery voltage is 3.7V, with a maximum charged voltage of 4.2V per cell.
DO NOT use LiFE battery packs or 18650 lithium-ion batteries with a nominal voltage of 3.6V and a fully charged voltage of 4.10V, as this may damage the charger or cause a fire.
If using Li-ion cells, ensure they are unprotected and are button-top cells.
Regularly check the battery voltage and condition. Never charge unattended. Always charge in a safe area away from combustible materials. Do not charge if the remote control is wet or damaged. Ensure correct polarity when charging.
RadioMaster is not responsible for any adverse consequences caused by the use or misuse of this product.
Model & Protocol Selection
Multi-protocol Module (CC2500 / 4-in-1)
The Boxer controller includes a 4-in-1 or CC2500 multi-protocol internal RF module, compatible with numerous protocols. Refer to the multi-module website for the latest list of compatible protocols. New protocols are frequently added and may require firmware updates.
SETUP:
- Long press the
MDL
button to enter model settings. - On the
SETUP
page, selectMULTI
. - In the sub-options, select the desired protocol. The system will automatically activate the corresponding RF module and deactivate others.

ELRS Version
Boxer ELRS units feature an internal ELRS module. For optimal performance, it is recommended to enable Dynamic Power and use a 500Hz or lower packet rate to extend battery life and minimize heat generation.
BIND INSTRUCTIONS (ELRS):
- TURN OFF the transmitter.
- Cycle power to the receiver 3 times; the receiver LED will flash twice, indicating bind mode.
- TURN ON the transmitter, long press the
SYS
